Tyramine Diet Anyone?
i just increased my Emsam dosage from 6 mg to 9mg. the new patch came with a dietary warning. i cant eat any tyramine rich foods and need to decrease/avoid caffeine. tyramine is an amino acid by product (the amino acid it comes from is tyrosine). tyramine is usually just processed by the body and

After a long bath I’m still aching all over and trying to rid myself of a headache with some Tangerine Dream (that’s perfectly legal and not what you think) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bGByDwiiECw I must say a massive thank you to Me Jooolie (Julie Collier to you) for organizing yesterday’s conference

A while ago, I emailed my local MP about OSA, as we were encouraged to do. I have now received a copy of the reply he had from Anna Soubry at the DH and thought some of you may be interested in it. Side effects of drugs
Has anyone experienced the compulsive behaviour side effects of taking Mirapexin? My husband has been taking it together with co-beneldopa for over a year but has recently started to exhibit unusual sexual behaviour which he says he cannot help. This is causing problems with him removing his incontinence

Sleep issues are not always due to Fibro alone....
I have had Fibro for at least 26 years maybe longer.4 years ago I suffered terrible with sleep problems. Nightmares, sleepwalking, falling asleep whenever i sat down (including sitting on the loo, only waking up as i fell off and hit the floor. Even broke my nose), waking up with heart pumping and totally

Hi all, I am new to this site & look forward to learning from you ways to live with RLS.
When I was 9 my mother took me to the Dr. because I would sleep for a short period then be awake for hours. Dr. put me on phenobarbital which I took just one night. I felt wretched the next day. Fast forward 40 years to a cardiac electrical crisis (AVNRT) which led to being under cardiology care. Finally

Does anyone have sleep problems since being diagnosed?
I was wondering if anyone out there had any problems with their sleep since being diagnosed? I have sleep problems for 5 years but only diagnosed this year. Was interested if any other fellow coeliacs had the same problem. I am lucky on a good night to sleep for 5 hours! I have been left with neurological

the perils of depression
I'm sure many of us have had experience of depression, some worse than others. It's so easy to take things the wrong way & feel slighted if you're depressed. Once when I was severely depressed, I got the date of my appointment with the psychiatrist mixed up. The receptionist told me, very kindly,

Sleep?? I can't stay awake!
Who else flits from one to the other? I go from weeks with not been able to sleep or constantly waking up before REM to nodding off constantly! I had to close my eyes for a few seconds yesterday when I was walking my dog because I couldn't keep them open, I could have easily nodded off and sleep walked

What are your opinions of Duloxetine?
I took my first dosage of Duloxetine this morning, just 30mg. Within about 10 minutes I was feeling very tired and a bit floaty, not too unpleasant but a bit unexpected. I laid down on the bed for 10 minutes .... 8 hours later I woke up! I've had a few bad nights recently so that partly explains the

Tiredness: this is a long story but think some may want to pursue the same medical line.
2012: I'm 51. Diagnosed with ET in 1995; know I had it in 1986. My son was born in 1990: felt exhausted, horrendous & about 100 from that day on. Before my son was born, I'd always needed at least 10 hours of sleep; always suffered nightmares, anxiety dreams & instant dreaming. After my son was
