I was diagnosed with afib only one time during a routine checkup. It was never found again. I even bought an afib detector that I test myself 3x a day. I have never had any symptoms. With that said, I realize afib is a progressive type of issue. In view that I have great cholesterol numbers and nothing

Getting a bit concerned
I’m feeling slightly fraudulent posting on here as I haven’t been diagnosed with a heart complaint but I wondered if my symptoms/experience resonated with anyone. I had 3 attacks of acute stridor (upper airway blockage) one week in November. I attended hospital for the first two and they were put down

Coming off pramipexole. Not sure why just after midnight is my worst time. I’m coming off pramipexole but having some weird symptoms. I’ve got this weird pain my side. Sometimes it’s in my tummy. Sometimes under my ribs. It’s worse when I move. I took 3 gabapentin today. No pramipexole. Not good

Another Question! Is it PMR or GCA Symptom's!
Back again with another question, After my GCA/Shingles scare last month I'm still feeling pain in my left jaw by my ear. Went to dentist before the GCA scare and said he couldn't find anything wrong. Also, have pain, stiffness in my left shoulder at the back, going up my neck behind my ear area.

Sleep Apnea
Hi. Any CLL peeps out there with swollen tonsils have to do the CPAP machine or mouth gear for apnea? I am feeling out options and both seem to stink to me. CLL is enough. I decided tonsils are staying in throat for now!

Day 14 post cardiac arrest and global anoxic injury. So confused and overwhelmed.
Hi all, thank you for the replies i received to my first post. There was a lot of helpful suggestions and it helped to hear from others who had been through similar things. Today is 2 weeks to the day my daughter had a cardiac arrest and had to be resuscitated. They estimated the time she was down to

Recall of some Philips Respironics PPE equipment
This is to alert people to the fact that in Canada and US (possibly also EU) some units from Philips Respironics PPE equipment are being recalled due to possible health concerns related to disintegration of the sound abatement foam (polyester-based polyurethane (PE-PUR)) used inside the units to dampen

ADVICE ON CPAP MACHINE RESULTS
Hi Folks, During a recent staycation of 11 nights in hospital for atrial fibrillation, hypertension, shortness of breath on exertion and very swollen legs and feet, I underwent an overnight sleep study . The outcome that I had an AHI of 41 was somewhat surprising to a guy who's never had a problem sleeping
