Sore mouth and toothpaste
There have been a couple of posts about sore mouth in the last month or so, so I would like to offer this: I've had so-called Burning Mouth Syndrome for some years, which has fluctuated, particularly with pred. The dentist says it nearly always turns out to be an allergy, but I couldn't track it down

Sore Throat
I have a sore throat right at the base of my throat where my thyroid is. It’s particularly sore in the night. Could it be my thyroid or just a random sore throat? My tonsils and throat area are slightly red, but nothing major. My current dose is T4 100mcg and T3 18.75. What can I do about it? Painkillers

F2 fibrosis, scared
Doc sent me to a gastroenterologist, too expensive to do the camera down the throat (I was worried about varices, doc wasn't tho but wondered if I had
ulcers
as I had pain on LUQ as well), but the gastro did a FibroSure blood test and that came back with a score of 0.37 - (0.0-1.0, 1.0 being cirrhosis

Crohn's for 2 years, calprotectin low symptoms returned
Colonoscopy was clear , but when we did capsule endoscopy on the last part of the small intestine 7 small
ulcers
were found. Current therapy is 6MP. I was doing great for few months , but then all of sudden some symptoms returned (I was eating everything even some lactose) .

Jaw pain
I am tolerating MTX really well and the nurses put my folic acid up to 3 days a week due to mouth
ulcers
and I am much better. No other side affects. I always have aches in several joints that take it turns to move up to throbs, the increase in MTX has not made any difference.

Clear colonoscopy but chronic active inflammation shown up on CT scan.
They didn't see any
ulcers
(my first colonoscopy from 2020 showed TI
ulcers
) and no inflammation (A CT scan from April this year showed chronic active inflammation in the caecum and terminal iluem). They have taken biopsies so just have to wait two weeks.

Worried Newbie
Feeling very worried as they found multiple aphthous
ulcers
and erythema in my terminal ileum. From the reading around the subject and the other symptoms I'm experiencing it strikes me that it's likely to be Chron's. So, some history.

Can b12 deficiency cause severe stomach problems?
It was diagnosed as stomach
ulcers
. I have been treating to the point that instead of calming down, each time it my symptoms worsen.

Methotrexate
I'm very fatigued at the moment and am experiencing other symptoms, including headaches, mouth
ulcers
, raynauds and joint pain. Today I saw my rheumatologist and she suggested that I try methotrexate. Has anyone benefitted from this drug?

On going investigation.
In 2019 I had a colonoscopy which showed a few TI
ulcers
but normal biospies. In 2021 I had my gallbladder out and I then began to have urgent and severe diarrohea with bloating. My calprotectin levels were 227 and then a repeat one was 435. I was referred to Gastroenterology.

Request for my views on rux
I have to admit that I consider it to have been my “life saver” I was on hydroxyurea from 2007 to 2016 and had dreadful symptoms, constant itching, swollen spleen night sweats, and the most dreadful mouth
ulcers
and swollen tongue.

Tonsillitis question and mtx
Hi. My 3 year old granddaughter has just got back from A&E and she has tonsillitis and has been given antibiotics. I’m due my MTX jab tomorrow and as it’s bank holiday I can’t get hold of Rheumy nurse. On the internet the NHS says it not contagious but the bacterial or viral infection that causes tonsillitis

Sore Tongue
I've had a sore tongue for 3 years since being diagnosed with pmr. My dentist just said its typical with autoimmune illness. I looked up Thrush but I didn't have white patches. My tongue always feels like I burnt the tip of it. Toothpaste irritates it. My n ew GP gave me oral dose of Nystatin for 2
