Rheumatologist response
My own attempts - diet, exercise, lots of water,
Tylenol
Arthritis... - have not been successful lately.I like her. I drive 2 1/2 hours to see her because my local rheumatologist was...let's just say "not good." Opinions?

Pain Spreading/Getting Worse
I've tried pelvic floor stretches, coccyx cushions, walking for 40-60 minutes everyday,
Tylenol
/paracetamol, ibuprofen, and naproxen, B12 and D3 supplements, and nothing seems to help. The pain just gets worse, and the doctors don't care.

Questions about using prednisone for a flare
Hello I have recently been taken off of methotrexate and only using rinvoq also using some Celebrex and
Tylenol
. Those meds are really not enough, I've started having pain in feet and overall inflammation. My doctor said I can have prednisone if I need it.

Doctor told me to take two extra strength
Tylenol
an hour before the procedure as well as one Valium. Also, antibiotics. Is the one Valium enough to calm me down as I am pretty anxious about the procedure? Has anyone else who has had these? Can you speak to your experience? How is the recovery?

Definitely pain with urinating the first 24 hours, relieved with pyridium/
tylenol
and 1 hydrocodone. Repeat 3 days later, that time no postop pain with urinating.

Dosage Awareness
Although
Tylenol
is such a common drug, its use associated with liver disease needs to be carefully monitored by the patient taking it.

Should it take this long to taper with PMR/GCA?
Tylenol
usually doesn't help. I continue with light exercise, eating a low inflammatory diet, and in general do not feel stressed. I try not to worry about these high doses of Prednisone for so many weeks. Is this just a time for needing more patience? Or might there be something else going on?

Can eye of newt and toe of frog help cure my cll?
Taking a couple
tylenol
has proven pain relief. More would be better, right? No, more than 4 grams of
tylenol
in a day can cause irreversible liver damage. We know that because its been tested and fda approved for a certain dose. So how do we know how much green tea and eye of newt is safe?

Prednisone Tapering Challenge
I have severe Brain fog, taking 3000mg of
Tylenol
daily, very sore in neck and shoulders and extremely fatigued. Scheduled to move my residence 400 miles this weekend and wondering if I should go back up to 5mg and try after my move for the fourth time.

I had a sore prostate that evening and took some
Tylenol
. No pain the next morning. He warned me that there will be blood in my ejaculate for a week or two. Hope this is helpful.

Taxotere causing horrible neuropathy on just the 3rd day.
The pain is constant, and neither
Tylenol
or Aleve make a dent in any it. I have an appt with my MO tomorrow and setting another up with my Neurologist ASAP. Overall, I'm in rough shape. Anybody else have neuropathy come on so strong and so fast?

Doctor reinstated infusions every 4 weeks instead of 8
My pain is not severe but it’s definitely there and extra strength
Tylenol
doesn’t help. I took a walk today and worked outside in my yard. I’m not incapacitated in any way. I’m afraid of letting this go and possibly turning into a full relapse. Am I correct in wanting to continue on Actemra?

Inflammation — this stuff works?
I haven’t even had to take
Tylenol
for pain. - “A healthy immune system recognizes and fights off illness and disease. Inflammation is part of that process.

I have a lot of back pain with the shooting pains and tingling going down my right leg, and back spasms in the morning hours until I take
tylenol
. Occasionally at night I use the muscle relaxant I got for the spasms but it really doesn't address the morning discomfort.

could use insight about preliminary diagnosis
I’m 34… I have started getting insomnia, like up every hour- fall back asleep, but wake after every hour..wildly vivid dreams, and RLS but in my arms and chest where I shake pretty violently -
Tylenol
seems to help for whatever reason I have sluggish digestion, with no cause- first considered gastroparesis

Questioning my doctors decision that I’m in remission
Sometimes
Tylenol
helped, sometimes it didn’t. At 8 weeks my blood work was normal. My ESR was elevated but still in normal range. I then had my 8 week infusion and once again the results were immediate. No pain, no tiredness and back to normal again.
