Prostap 3 and FET
Hello. Any ladies out there had the Prostap 3 for 12 weeks before your FET. After the check scan did you have to wait for your period to try again or were you just started on oestrogen? Jenny x

Covid & tapering
I am battling covid and the worst symptom is the unrelenting fever. It’s day 6 and every day my temperature spikes to 102.5 Tylenol or Aleve do little to nothing to bring it down, but I have noticed a pattern with the prednisone. I’m down to 2mg now and after I take that dose in the am, my temperature

Help for a friend with corticobasal degeneration.
Dear forum friends: I have a friend who has been diagnosed with corticobasal degeneration. I can't find much specific information about this atypical parkinsonism. Except for Dr. Costantini's reference in the famous interview (number 30) or the comments on medical cannabis oil, I can't find any information

Another Question! Is it PMR or GCA Symptom's!
Back again with another question, After my GCA/Shingles scare last month I'm still feeling pain in my left jaw by my ear. Went to dentist before the GCA scare and said he couldn't find anything wrong. Also, have pain, stiffness in my left shoulder at the back, going up my neck behind my ear area.

Retzius sparing prostatectomy, 1 week later
Hi all, I still need to update my journey blog, but thought I would give an update as it has been a week today since my procedure at Georgetown. The procedure itself went really well. Turns out my prostate was 100 grams. Pathology came back showing 4+3, versus original 3+4 from biopsy. No positive

Codeine
Hi guys! I’ve always found that taking codeine makes me wide awake and unable to sleep. Doctors are always baffled when I tell them this and I can never find anything online about it… does anyone else get this?! I SO wish codeine made me drowsy and sleepy as it seems to do to everyone else!!

Update
Hello All It has been some time since I posted but just felt like giving an update. My last posts were about suffering from TMJ. I do believe after six months it has got somewhat better. I have arthritis in my jaw and also had a wisdom tooth taken out. Yesterday I went to see a new Rhemy to get some

New here, cabg’ed
I’m new here. Cabg x 5 about 7 weeks ago. Dropped the codeine after about 2 weeks (weird dreams!) and slowly reading paracetamol. Following the advice, slowing increasing duration, not intensity of walking and only real problem is drain holes (2 of 3) not healing properly and starting a steroid cream

Hi there, I will introduce myself, I am Cheryl, I don't often join in many groups of any kind, as I have high functioning Autism on top of all this, which just makes it a bit more 'interesting' to manage!. I have had sciatic pain on and off in my right leg since around 2017, and it has gradually got

Interdependance of iron load and thyroid function
The interrelationship between iron load and thyroid function is pretty well accepted, but I post here a paper showing the effect in children (can extrapolate safely to adults I think). It underlines the need for good iron loading to help rule out or confirm hypothyroidism.

New Italian paper below. [1] Mark Moyad has been saying for many years that "Heart-healthy is prostate-healthy." It is known that men with PCa have a higher risk for cardiovascular-related mortality - even if not on ADT - and that men with PCa often exhibit symptoms of the metabolic syndrome [MetS],

Supplements -so much information
Hi all I know that we need to take vitamin D as those of us who are light sensitive and stay out of the sun need this, however there is also lots of other suggestions on the internet. I do have inflammatory arthritus and many sites suggest turmeric, other sites suggest fish oil and omega 3. So, for
