Prostap 3 and FET

Hello.

Any ladies out there had the Prostap 3 for 12 weeks before your FET.

After the check scan did you have to wait for your period to try again or were you just started on oestrogen?

Hi I had prostap for 3 months before a fet. It did help me to get pregnant but I unfortunately lost the baby. There’s lots of literature that shows it can shrink the endo and make it more likely to achieve a pregnancy. Do you have endo?

Hi. I have had two cycles of IVF both resulting in miscarriage at 7 weeks.

I was diagnosed with adenomyosis.

Just started on oestrogen yesterday for my third cycle 🙏

I also have both endo and adenomyosis. I have lost two pregnancies at 8 weeks and then my last at 20 weeks. It’s really hard the adenomyosis definitely affects the pregnancies. I think prostap is our only option to help before a fet as it can shrink it all down. I have read many success stories of people using prostap before a fet and delivering a healthy baby. Would you consider 6 months instead of three to maximise the benefits?

I am so sorry to hear about your loss.

This is my last embryo now so kinda feels like last chance saloon for me. I am going at this alone as a single person.

I went for the scan yesterday and honestly thought if they said I needed another 3 months Prostap I would literally cry. I have hated every minute of the last 12 weeks. The insomnia and sweats have been horrific.

I just have to hope it’s third time lucky and the Prostap 3 has helped.

They thought I had a bicornuate uterus at first as my uterus was so narrow from all the adenomyosis. It’s been a rough few years on this journey. Very difficult miscarriages too, requiring lots of procedures to sort them.

Think your body and mind can only take so much x

So sorry to hear of everything you’ve gone through. It’s so unfair and heartbreaking. You are so brave and amazing. There’s no reason this don’t work. The pros tap even for 3 months does a great job of reducing the adenomyosis. I’ve read so many success stories. I have an embryo left too and about to start prostap before fet too.

Fingers crossed it works for you also.

Have you had Prostap before? I’m sure everyone is different. The insomnia and night sweats were the worst for me. Hope you feel ok on it.

Keep in touch. I have just started oestrogen ready for FET. Scan again next Friday. Hopefully il be a success story for you x

I used prostap for 3 months and it did work but I lost the baby. I actually felt great on it compared to how I feel normally. No pain and my hormones felt more balanced! I got a few hot flushes. Good luck with everything. Please god everything works out for you. Keep in touch. Is there a way to pm on here? I will be doing fet next year
