While most of our forum is focused on treatment, I thought it would be helpful for others to post our palliative care routine. Our current treatment has made a huge difference and greatly improved quality of life. My dad declined very suddenly with PCa on July 17. He has a unique situation with daily

Hi all, This is my first post and I'm hoping for a little advice. I was diagnosed with endo last November after an emergency laparotomy to remove a 17cm endometrioma, along with my right ovary and tube. I had no symptoms before the day I went to A&E and everything was great after the surgery, I was told

Hi all, I have been on Humeria for 8 weeks now, the injecting is easy enough and I have no problems. I am in so much pain and the fatigue is unreal! I rang my rumey nurse a few weeks back and was told I cannot have any steroids until I have seen her and that is 11th November. I am taking the maximum

Use of thyroid hormones in hypothyroid and euthyroid patients: a 2020 THESIS questionnaire survey of members of the Hellenic Endo Society
We have often discussed Greece and their use of T3 (*liothyronine) - moist especially due to the very reasonable price of their own T3 product from Uni-Pharma. For that reason, I half-expected an article regarding thyroid treatment in Greece to see T3 rather more visible than in the UK. Whilst they

Hi, I have Hashimoto’s. Like many been on a journey to get well for years. I’m in menopause. Fed up/ angry 😡
So had my post op appointment today with my surgeon , who carried out my laparoscopy 3 months ago.. I tried to ask questions.. like why is my pain worse now than it was prior my op? .. his response was 'well I removed the Endo so you shouldn't be in pain' .. I then went on to express that I have to take

Iodine plus levothyroxine after Thyroidectomy?
Hi there. I had my thyroid removed since 2018, has anyone taken the violet iodine brand (molecular iodine), or some other along with levothyroxine? I have read that iodine helps in fibrocystic mastopathy, muscle aches, premenstrual syndrome, POS, etc. Levothyroxine has not been enough for me and T3

Pain in the hip and knee, Low PSA
Been on ADT (Abiraterone + Orgovyx) therapy since April 2021 and my PSA has been in a range ~ .3- .6 since then. Never had prostate removed as it had already metastesized. A few days ago started having pain in the hip and knee which is getting worse. Nothing helps alleviate the pain. I tried heat &

Here we go again?
I was diagnosed in September of 2017 with PMR and started on 20mg of prednisone. Finally after a very slow taper I got to zero in July. For a while all was ok. I do have degenerative disc disease and a herniated disc so didn’t expect miracles. I got by with gabapentin and Tylenol. The last few days have
