IVF and raised TSH - should I be concerned?
However, a recent blood test via my GP showed my
TSH
had risen to 3.8. A week later, another test at my fertility clinic showed it was 2.9. I started taking 25mcg of levothyroxine last summer when my
TSH
was just over 4. I had to really fight for that as the GP insisted it was unnecessary.

Can levothyroxine cause hypothyroidism?
This happened about 25 years ago: I had hashimoto's and a large goiter, but
tsh
and thyroid hormones were normal. Before starting levo I had some symptoms: dry, fine hair, some cognitive issues... but I felt almost healthy and was active 17 hours a day).

Blood test results
Rang GP asked to see a thyroid specialist she said no as levels are in range, I adked why
TSH
had increased since last time she said hormones vary, I take the blood test at 9 am, no levo that morning and no B complex for a week before.

Im wondering if the very low
tsh
levels have helped me feel better. I also have a question...how long does it really take to get your levo dose right?

Updated diagnosis of autoimmune thyroid disorder
The consultant wasn’t rude but couldn’t reconcile my symptoms with my
TSH
being in range and said I’m at risk of developing a thyroid disorder in the future.

Up an down
Blood results today from Endo are T4 23.7,
TSH
0.01. So increasing Carbazole now to 10mg twice a day.. My bloods 8 weeks ago meant I could decrease the dose but now increasing again. Have others experienced this up and down during first year of treatment?

Confused!!
Hi everyone just had results back and my
TSH
is in range but my T3 was 0.2 which is below the 0.35 range stated. My GP said they can't medicate until
TSH
changes is this correct?? I have a toxic multi modular glitter and I am tired of feeling like crap. Any information or suggestions please.

Hashimotos, normal tsh, still exhausted
TSH
now at 1.5. But I’m exhausted again. By 3pm I want to go to sleep. Headaches, brain fog, feeling low. Should I push for a higher dose? Currently on 50mcg.

Low TSH, T4 but optimal T3 on NDT (22 weeks pregnant)
But my
TSH
and T4 are very low, so the endo keeps telling me to up my levo (which I won't...because I'm not going back on it). I went through my GP this time to get my labs and asked them to test T3. Can I please get some feedback on how things look?

Looking for suggestions
The Endocrine dr disagreed because my
TSH
was under 5. I also got diagnosed with PBC recently which can also play a role with fatigue. Any suggestions on what I should do next. Should I push for synthroid and will it help control the size of my thyroid. Or should I leave well enough alone. Tia

Effects of Levothyroxine
hi everyone, Thanks to some wonderful advice here I have navigated various GPs who initially suggested my symptoms could all be “psychological” The last GP I spoke to looked back at my
TSH
from my last pregnancy and found it had been elevated, and had continued to climb over last 4 years.

T4 low, TSH low side of normal. GP won’t test T3 or refer to endocrinologist.
I don’t know what to do- My recent T4 level was 11, and my
TSH
1.31. I’ve been experiencing hypothyroid symptoms for over 5 years.
