Hi my latest results are tsh 3.88(0.27-4.20) and Ft4 15.00 (11.0-25.0) endo said to stay on 5mg every day with these latest results but for the last 6 weeks i have been taking 2.5mg every other day as I felt tired on the 5mg I will let him know when i see him april.

My TSH 3.8 Free thyroxine 17.6 Free t3 5.3 Either I'm making it up in my head or I'm experiencing these symptoms from levothyroxine I've been on thyroxine about 10 week so in initial dosing period.

TSH levels fluctuating all over the place for past 6 years. Well the GP called today & refused to do T3 & T4 no surprise there. Has refused to recheck vitamins other than D but will do a FBC Calcium & diabetes & Coeliac test for some reason. Why?? I could spit feathers !!!!!

as I told her T4 never gave me a good T3 level, I explained about T4 going into the cell and coming out as T3 , T3 being the hormone that counts the most, she looked perplexed and said no its TSH that we measure, the Ts really dont have much reference [ THE OLD TSH PLOY] .

Can anyone tell me why they test tsh when your on medication if it really serves no purpose. Isn't the free t3 and free t4 the main goal.

Also just to add it has always been just my TSH values that have been elevated which was why I was originally put on 25mcg and then up to 100mcg eventually.

How widely should TSH vary in someone who has been taking the same dose (100 ug) of Levothyroxine for over a decade? I'm always in the normal range, so should I be happy with that? Could my recent downtrend in TSH cause heart palpitations?

TSH is still suppressed (no surprise) CRP is .983 despite me having been a bit under the weather recently and recovering from a broken wrist. Vit B12 is 76.4 (37.5-188). Vit D is 181 (50-250). Free T3 is 73% through range and free T4 is 39% through range.

I recently had my annual blood test and the results showed that my serum TSH result came back as ‘out of range’ which is 0.23 mIU/L. This is a 1.3 decrease since last year. Does this mean I might be taking too much thyroxin?

TSH over 12! Cant waste time going to the GP.

following on from my last post where my blood tests showed low tsh (following protocols) I was called into the dr today. Dr wants me to drop to 50 one day 75 the next. I feel quite settled on 75. He took my blood pressure and pulse both of which were low.

In 2019 my son had Tsh over reference (5.99) but when they retested it had lowered and they said all fine. I have added a pic of his recent results and his TSH is higher end again. Does anyone think he may have thyroid issues. Please help! Any advice appreciated.
