Thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) test

My TSH is now around 8 again, T3 and T4 mid range. Any idea what is going on with TSH, T3 and T4? Thanks

GP did a TSH test but result came back 0.87 which I believe to be well within normal range but I know from reading some of the posts on your forum that a TSH test alone does not necessarily diagnose a problem.

Any doctor would probably say these are normal, especially considering TSH is bang in the middle.

My last test result was TSH 7.4 and T4 was 14. My gp won’t test T3 as he says it’s the T4 that’s important and mine is apparently ( his words ) perfect. I’m posting on here because I’m not feeling 100%!

Hello, wondering if anyone has experience of taking myo-inositol and any impact on their TSH please? I’ve been taking it for 4 months for PCOS, TSH was 1.1 just before I started and is now 4.8 (T3 and T4 within range).

I am on thyroxine and T3 have developed inflammation in my body, have had T3 and Tsh tested recently. Could thyroid antibodies be causing my problems. Have been on thyroxine for over 70 years.

The letter basically says normal ft3 & ft4 levels but TSH is 0.1 to redo bloods in 3 months.

After 2 grains for 3 weeks then titrating down to 1/4 grain for 1 week: over 7 week period: Same ranges for all tests TSH 0.025 (0.27-4.2) T3 4.9 (3.1-6.8) T4 10.4 (12-22) After stopping all thyroid meds for 2 weeks: TSH 2.58 T3 4.1 T4 12 Latest results on 1/4 armour then 1/2 armour and now

I was suffering with many symptoms but no one seemed to believe me and my TsH was always ‘in range’. It was only after suffering infertility, trying IVF and having several miscarriages that I was finally diagnosed.

They have came back saying my TSH level is too low and reduced my dose even more. So now I’m on 100mg and feeling very deflated and upset wondering where I’m going to be health wise 6 months down the line. my results are TSH level 0.4-4.9 T3 level 2.4-6.0 T4 level 9.0-19.0

Would splitting my levothyroxine into at least 2 doses suppress my TSH less than talking the whole dose at once?

my tsh is now 8.8 , hospital have said to alternate doses 50 one day then 75 another day , as I’m feeling unwell on 50 very bad throat , and I’m over active on 75 , is this good advice , still here at hospital , anything I should put to them why I’m still here they said my other reading is normal t4

My recent blood test showed my tsh was within normal range but Consultant didn't request t3 or t4. I have been advised to continue on 15 my carbimazole. Should I have had t3 and t4 tested? I always have in the past but not this time, for some reason.. not feeling particularly brilliant either.. 😒

TSH strikes again ☠️

I've been retested recently and have a TSH level of 6. I also have a TSH receptor level of 0.3. I have a few symptoms.. Tiredness Brain fog Cold all the time Thinning eyebrows Dry skin/hair/nails Aching muscles/joints/knuckles/elbow joins etc Any help would be greatly appreciated.

TSH 1.63 miu/L (0.27 - 4.2) Free T4 18.2 pmol/L (12- 22) Free T3 3.8 pmol/L (3.1- 6.8) Cortisol 593 onmol/L (73.8-507.0) This is my second high Cortisol result in a few months.

hi everyone, so I’m on tirosint 100 T4 and 15 mg of T3 these are my blood results TSH. 0.03 FT4 1.4 FT3. 3.4 TPO. 1 I’m not good. Have all these symptoms from vertigo , panic attack pain. I’m so confused those anyone have any suggestions thank you. 🙏

My blood test results are, Serum TSH: 0.02 range 0.3-4.5 FT4: 36.4 range 11-22 FT3: 9.7 range 3.1-6.8 TSH <1.0 range 1-1.8 I haven’t spoken to my gp since my results have come in but I know they have sent for a referral to Endocrinologist that I am waiting to hear from.

prior to this test my last blood test was similar for t3 but TSH has massively reduced as it was 19 , but antibodies were much much higher . Then prior to this test in March and again end of April , I had a fully suppressed TSH but elevated T3 on 2 repeat tests .
