I was feeling better for 2 weeks on an 1/8 gr NDT increase from 1 1/4gr pr dy to 1 3/8gr pr dy. Day 16 and im starting to sweat at night, feel jittery inside which wears off 7 hours after meds. Would this be the additional T4 thats effecting me or the additional T3 thats coverted from the additional T4
I ask this as i did not feel jittery for 14 days of upping the dose, its only 16 days in
Last results Feb 2024 on 1 1/4 gr were TSH 0.09 (0.27-4.2) FT3 4.6 (3.1-6.8) FT4 15.3 (12-22)
All Irons, B12, PA, GPab, Vit D, Folic, FBC all normal and where advised to be on this forum.
Ive been under immense stress , so aware that will impact, but any thoughts greatly appreciated.
Every best wish, G

Ok, I hadnt thought of that....... I was just thinking that I had too much of something. If 1/8 grain NDT yields 4.75mcg T4 and 1.13 mcg T3 approx , that because who knows how much of that T4 I can convert (DIO2 +) i just thought the jitters and sweating meant' too much'. Then maybe I should persevere and see if it settles.?Then increase.
Thank you for taking the time to reply, I hope all is well with yourself ?
I doubt if an increase of 1.13 mcg T3 would suddenly take you to too much. And the increase in T4 isn't much, either. And given that at best you only convert 30% of your T4 to T3, that's hardly likely to take you over the top either.
You have to be careful with symptoms because so many of them over-lap hypo with hyper.
Agreed, its a tiny increase. I know I am super sensitive.....to many things. Just eaten 2 dates and got the same hot feeling and shaky.......all sounds a bit adrenals now, im thinking. All my blood sugars are fine , but im getting weird debilitating sensations after eating......and yes you are probably right , I need a dose increase, as I recall this happened some years back when I needed a dose increase. The simplest things seem to become a stressor when I need an increase. Whether its food, airbourne chemicals, or just day to day stuff.
