I was at .69
TSH
on levothyroxine 100 mgs a day with mega side effects. Doctors just switched me Tirosint 88 mgs a day. Am I to expect more serious changes, again. I lost my voice, got chubby, lost hair, aged, and more. Its been a life-changing experience but not the best.

My

Confusing first results on T4/T3
TSH
0.007 (0.27-4.2) T3 6 (3.1- 6.8) T4 22.1 (12-22) Initially after reducing levo and introducing Lio, my sleep really improved (it was poor before and I suspected that this was caused by being overmedicated on levo/T3 still being too low).

GP referred me to Endocrinology
Says it’s subclinical
TSH
levels. Instead will refer me to endocrinology. Also said ferritin levels are a waste of time and don’t indicate anything as rbc fine. My mums “happy”
TSH
level is 1.5. Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Results on new test
I am on 2.5 grain of NDT so my
TSH
is suppressed.
TSH
.01 (.27 - 4.2) T4 20.3 (12 - 22) T3 5.9 (2.1 - 6.8) I'm not sure whether I need to be higher in some of the other results. Active B12 112 (0 - 210) I take Pink Tribe Liposomal B Complex.

Liver, hyperthyroidism, carbimazole
I had a blood test this week and my
TSH
is still very low, my T3 is normal and my T4 is almost in normal range. It concerns me that my liver function has become problematic. My ALAT (GPT) is higher than normal and other markers seem to be rising since I became hyper.

Confused. Do I really need Levo?
I have had sub-clinical hypothyroidism (diagnosed by
TSH
level only 😕) for approx 20 years. I was made aware of this and prescribed Levothyroxine only a couple of years ago when my
TSH
reached 10 (apparently full-blown hypothyroidism).

T3 only. No tests to compare to, only TSH. How much T3?
However, the endocrinologist is prescribing based on
TSH
and weight. I posted before, how she had calculated in October 2023, that I have 20mcg a.m. Monday Wednesday and Friday, and then 10mcg a.m. Tue, Thur, Sat and Sun, and 10mcg p.m. every day.

Looking for help :(
She couldn’t find any bloods checking my thyroid other than
TSH
too. She also was concerned no one has said anything about my FSH etc. Said she wanted to speak to her supervisor but will arrange full test to be done.
