Hi everyone hope u guys are all well. I have one question well my kidney transplant is 22 years im very blessed but is around 30 to 28 % and on my blood work my TSH thyroid is high I spoke to the dr about it and he said that is because of my kidney function being so low but im concern my gyno wants to send me to a especialist has anyone experience this before . I would highly appreciate your advice or experiences.

I don't have a transplant, yet, but I do have Graves Disease which causes hyperthyroidism. With a high TSH you need to see an endocrinologist who can test you for hypothyroidism and if that's the cause there are meds to control it.
I had hypothyroidism befote transplant. I was never were aware of a relation between the 2. I was told though that my parathyroid issues contributed to my CKD. I would check with the transplant team if you are still in touch with them. I would consult an endocrinologist and my nephrologist. Your question needs to be addressed by specialists.
