I have a wonderful Solicitor

hi everyone, it’s been a while since I last posted my updated news. My divorce has been put on hold for whatever reason which I do not understand. I payed out 600 pounds for flights and accommodation but had to cancel due to the above.

I am feeling so much better than before as I was in a mess physically and emotionally now I have a light at the end of that dark tunnel. My new solicitor Robert has told me he can’t get me out of my home. What a relief I felt like a big weight had been lifted from my whole body, and I burst into tears ( tears of joy and relief)

I am still getting speech therapy speech still the same to me, but my family and friends say I am much better. Still sound like a foreign somebody though I was polish certainly not English.

My neurologist has retired so I am waiting for a new doctor who might be able to help me with my tremors. I eat mostly with a spoon or fingers it’s so difficult but hopefully a new neurologist will help me. Again thank you for all your love and support Please Take Care God Bless Liz and Shelly 🐾🌹🙏

Thanks for your reply It’s been 18 months of hell but now I can relax and try and raise the 18 thousand pounds to pay for the solicitor but at least I have time now without worrying about being put out of my home. Take care Love Liz and Shelly 🐾🌹🙏

Such good news Liz ; I'm glad you can relax and get your breath back for a while. I hope your new neurologist will be in touch soon, and that you're coping ok in the meantime.

Big hugs to you, and a tummy tickle for Shelly ! Cat x

Hi liz,

so happy you can stay in your home, that is a super big deal.

I'm not sure what the money is for, but I know here in Canada the court gives people access to very low interest loans so they can pay money they may owe in a divorce settlement - I am not sure if it covers the lawyers fees as well. Is there something like that in the UK?

I'm sure you can find where to ask such questions, but just thought I'd mention that.

Having been through messy divorce myself, I can say you will feel heaps better when it is finished... it may take a bit to sink in. The stress going will help you a lot.

take good care and keep us posted... hang in there!

Thank you for your kind words, unfortunately because he has moved to Tenerife the legal aid will not cover the fees even though I have been abused for 30 years. My son and I have had to pay £24 thousand pounds to,a solicitor in Tenerife such a waste of time and all the money we had all because a solicitor in England messed things up. So now I am selling all my jewellery to help pay the new solicitor who is good. I truly don’t mind as the most important thing for me is to get strong again mentally and physically. Thanks again God Bless Liz and Shelly my adorable doggy xx🐾🌹🙏

Glad to hear you are seeing some light at the end of the tunnel! 😊

I hope you can raise the money you require. Have you thought of doing a ‘go fund me’ online? Maybe your son can help you sent one up instead of selling all your jewelry etc.
