I got the results of my chest, abdominal, and pelvis CT scan today. Chest: Ascending and descending aorta normal. Everything else normal. Abdominal Aorta: “No significant

piles and edoxoban
My poor hubby doesn’t seem to be able to catch a break at the moment, if you’ve read some of my previous posts concerning his stroke and AF. For the last five days he has bled after every bowel movement , he has had piles in the past but has not bled as much , I would say as much as a nosebleed ,

Not sure how this works but am finding the holidays extra hard.
Trying to stay even in my moods but I'm not looking forward to seeing my parents over the holidays. It's very hard to be around them since I realize I suffer from complex ptsd.

Stopping Actemra
Good day all: Well, I called and canceled my Actemra infusion for today. I was recently diagnosed with something called MGRS (Monoclonal Gammopathy of renal Significance), It is related to Multiple Myeloma. I start chemotherapy for the MGRS next week, which is the same as the chemo for full

Gradually over the next few weeks, hip's became stiffer, burning type pain at times down to the knees. Putting on lower half clothes and shoes became

Interesting info
My husband had a dvt event a few weeks ago and had the usual response of heparin injections for 4 days, and put on apixaban. I commented to him that Apixaban will sort out the clot in his femoral vein .The AC nurse stopped me and said,no, Apixaban does not work on actual clots it prevents further ones

I have some questions that maybe someone can help me with.
Hi! I have recently had some bloodwork and some new things popped up - and I was wondering if it is lupus related, or something entirely on its own. I am currently on Coumadin (Warfarin) for several pulmonary embolisms, and now my hemoglobin is high and my erythrocytes are high. Also, I am now

GCA and Vision update
As you all may recall, I was started in 60 mg. Prednisone in October. I am currently on 40 mg. I have now had 3 (weekly) injections of Actemra. I am still very concerned about my eyesight. I still see double at a distance, though it’s not as divergent as it was, I can read again up close, though, without

Swollen painful hand
I've had PMR for 2 years. Was started on 40 mg of prednisone. I have slowly gotten down to 13 mg. Recently I tapered to 12 mg but have not felt very well & suddenly my right hand fingers are swollen & very painful. This has never happened before. Is this some kind of flare?

Ruminating.
Age piles the years on one by one Yet we try to do as we've always done The body gets weak but the mind stays strong Maybe that's where we all went wrong We should perhaps throw caution out And rid ourselves of those fears and doubt Unshield ourselves and put it about Get really drunk and rage

Preventing IBS diarrhea before plane travel
Does anyone have any tips on how to avoid embarrassing accidents on planes? Is it okay to use Imodium proactively?

The Dreaded MR
I think I posted a comment on someone else's thread months ago about having to go through MR, because in my review, they had taken me from enhanced on both elements of PIP down to standard rate on daily living only. To be honest I was evidently irate in the information I sent back. Igot them to send
