For those with kids...
Sorry if this is triggering for anyone ttc. For the ladies with kids how do you manage? I have 3 young kids 5, 7 and 10. I know I'm lucky to have had no fertility issues. Endo/Adeno I believe has been a result of a c section with my third. But how the hell do you manage the pain and worse CONSTANT FATIGUE

I was 51 yr old diagnosed with Prostate cancer state 1 with a PSA 4.7. Gleasons mixed of 3+3's and 3+4's.I had robotic prostatectomy. Psa was undetectable until January 2023 and slowly creeped back up to .19 now in April 2024 . Just started Hormonal Therapy with radiation scheduled for August.

Oncologist visit today
Finished visit with oncologist. We are going to monitor PSA every 6 weeks to watch for doubling time. Next meds may be abiraterone and prednisone, but that still remains to be determined.

Dad,83 - is biopsy necessary ?
My dad , 83 had an elevated psa at 18. Dr ordered MRI which showed a pirads 5 with 2-3 bone metastases in the pelvic region and femur. Went to an oncologist who said to do a PSMA and then to start him on Lupron and bicalutamide. And maybe radiation for the bone met pain. He said he did not really

Rise in psa
I had rp in 2021 with recurrence 12 months later to 1 lymph node. RT to 9lymph nodes and zoladex hormone therapy for 18 months. Psa has been undetectable for 12 months but just rose to 0.03. Do I need to wait until it rises to 2.0 as I've seen advice before or is there a more proactive approach? Thanks

What Next After Xtandi Fail?
Morning all. Don't post much but now is the time. Been fighting the Beast since Nov 2016. On Lupron from the beginning and Xtandi since Nov 2019. Hit Nadir of .21 in Dec 2022. Since then, PSA has been jumping around, but trending upward. End of 2023, it was at .67. Feb 2024, PSA up to .87. Yesterday

Rising PCA - on ADT Holiday
Diagnosed Stage 4 oligometastatic (low volume) PCA in 2021. Gleason 7, 4+3 . Completed RT and 18 months on ADT (Nubeqa) paused the ADT in September after PSA non detectable and a fresh set of scans showed no “evidence of disease”. Continued to do bloodwork quarterly and PSA remained at 0. Until

Confused
UPDATE: April 5, 2024 Yesterday was very disappointing as my husbands PSA increased again by 183 points, last month his PSA was 1546 and now it is 1730. All his other CBC results were good. His Alkaline Phosphatase increased 6 points, last month 127 and now 133 but still in range of 40-150. Questioned

Stage 4, GL 9 seeking advice
After 10 months without pain, I'm starting to have pain in my back. Orgovyx and Zytiga have appeared to keep the cancer relatively quiet until now. Next month I turn 87. I'm quite healthy, apart from Prostate cancer. I have no illusions about a cure but would like to have as many QOL days as possible

Next step
Just finished up with chemo. Went from 139 psa @ dx to 1.66. I didn't make it to the non detectable team. Not sure what to think as many here with higher psa's have gone down lower. I'm currently still on Orgovyx and Nubeqa. Should I ask for more rounds of chemo as I've done 6 ? Will my PSA possibly

rash reaction to Xtandi
I was taking Xtandi and developed a rash in a few places. my oncologist insisted on getting me off of this medication.. I went to the dermatologist and he explained that he has been able to help people stay on medication even if they develop a rash. The dermatologist did a biopsy and contacted the oncologist

PSMA-Addition Trial can give access to Pluvicto for DeNovo or mHSPC
The range of access to Pluvicto (Lu177-PSMA-617) radionuclide treatment is expanding. Great news. The PSMA-Fore trial recently showed that it iis very beneficial before docetaxel chemotherapy in mCRPC. Now a worldwide trial is exploring it in metastatic hormone sensitive PC, including de novo metastatic
