Here we go again
I’ve not posted since my miscarriage as needed to give myself a break from it all but am now about to start my second round of ivf (icsi) - with injections starting tomorrow. I’m feeling extremely apprehensive about it because I feel so much more pressure this time around. Especially as it feels like

ovarian cyst
Hi everyone.. been feeling really low for the past few weeks.. trying to keep positive and then have very low spell of sadness and anxiety.. had my baseline scan yesterday to start my IVF short protocol. They found a cyst about 3 cm big on my right ovary. They said it’s common may be due to hormonal

day 5 post FET
Hi, I have just had a medicated FET. I am on day 5 of my two week wait. I have had two embryos inserted this time, after having one success 3 years ago (my little boy is now 2) and one failed FET earlier this year. I have started to get waves of nausea, slight pelvic cramps and also tiny white

Success with poorer grade day 5 blastocysts for women 40 years old
I only have one good IVF IMSI cycle at 40 years old. I recently had a missed miscarriage with a double transfer of two good day 5 blastocyst grades of 6B+B+ and 6B+B-. One stuck but miscarried at 8w. I have 5 day 5 blastocysts left but the grades are not as good. I have one 6B+B-, 3x 6B-B- and one

Failed First Round ICSI - no blastocysts - NHS wants to put us back on the waiting list. 39years old. Want to try again next month
39, Just had a consultation with Dr after failed first NHS IVF round. No blastocysts. We were contacted out of the blue and our IVF started earlier than we expected (We were given a start of March 2024 as a guide to start) Our appointment was brought forward due to our age and AMH. First appointment

SMBC / late loss / twins / heartbroken / guilt
hi everyone, I haven’t wrote in this in a long long time but always read other stories every day. I’m a SMBC and have a beautiful 3 yr old thanks to Ivf , he is my world and last year I thought strong and hard about trying for a sibling. I really wanted 1 more and to give him a brother or sister to

Urgent: hydroxychloroquine and Escitalopram interaction?
Hi friends, I’ve been prescribed hydroxychloroquine for RIF and I’m very hopeful about this round of DE IVF. However, I am worried about the contra-indications of Escitalopram (which I’ve been on for +5 years now) for anxiety and the newly prexribed hydroxychloroquine as part of my new FET protocol

IVF egg retrieval
hi, I have PCOS and have excess hair growth on my face😔. I’ve received a letter to start my IVF treatment in October and just wondering are you able to keep your make up on during the egg retrieval as this is something I’m very anxious about. Thank you

transporting embryos for testing
Has anyone completed an IVF cycle at one clinic then transported embryos to another clinic for PGT-A testing? The clinic I am at does not do testing however due to age and 2 resent miscarriages I am considering testing.

sex after miscarriage
Hi, unfortunately I have just experienced a MMC following my first IVF cycle. I chose for it to happen naturally and I miscarried almost 2 weeks ago. On the day I miscarried I experienced a lot of pain but didn’t pass a lot of blood. In the days following I did pass what is thought to have been the pregnancy

is HCG monitoring needed ?
hello I had a positive pregnancy test yesterday (from euploid frozen embryo transfer by embryo donor) and an initial HCG test with a level of 410 which the nurse said is very good. I am now unclear about whether I need to keep monitoring HCG levels like most of my friends did when they went through ivf

DHEA ADVICE PLEASE
Hi everyone. I am 39, ttc for two years. Endo and hypothyroidism. Completed natural modified ivf and had two embryos frozen. First Fet failed and now I am considering DHEA and a final cycle before my last Fet. I would really appreciate your advice on this. I am restarting my supplement regime again.

Dhea and Ivf advice please
Hi everyone. I have turned 39. I have endo and hypothyroidism. TTC for 2 years. Started Ivf last year with two embryos after natural modified cycle. First Fet failed. Disappointed is an understatement but considering taking Dhea and consider another cycle before Fet. I am so exhausted by this and would

IVF - the number slide
I was fortunate enough at a grand old age of 39 to have 26 eggs taken at first retrieval- 25 of which were mature and 17 of which fertilised. It all sounded wonderful. We opted for PGT-A testing as we are sticking to a single cycle to protect our mental and financial position - and from 17 we got 5

feeling disappointed 😢
Following my first IVF cycle, I was told yesterday that I have no embryos to transfer. Two immature eggs collected. One became mature in the lab and they were able to inject sperm into it, but it fertilised abnormally! I feel so disappointed in myself and my body and finding it difficult to pick myself

Sensitive: update and lines/symptoms in case it's helpful
This shock natural pregnancy may actually be happening - I know this is sensitive and tbh I was quite resentful when I saw people getting pregnant naturally on here as I assumed it would never be me. We have been TTC for 10 years, never had a sniff of a bfp naturally, turned out to be a weird responder

endometrial scratch
Hi everyone, I had my endometrial scratch last Tuesday, all went well. I’m on day 29 of my cycle and been getting dull cramps for the past two days. I don’t usually have period cramps (very light) and not felt like this before. It’s very uncomfortable and I’ve not really been able to sleep. Anyone experience
