I think I took a double dose of menopur by accident freaking out

Hi guys if anybody has any similar experience please share this is my second round of ivf and tonight would be day 3 of taking menopur when I was at my nurse appointment I was taking in so much information I'm also on other injections to and i had forgot if the nurse told me to mix 1 menopur powders or 2 now when I checked my sheet I got from the nurse it was wrote down 150 that was the dosage I was ment to take now beside sheet said 150 menopur was 2 powders so iv been taking to powders according to my sheet but then tonight after I took my dosage I looked at my menopur box and it said menopur 150 on the actual box so now I'm thinking that I was only ment to take 1 powder and iv been mixing 2 powders for 3 nights now so I have to go back in tommrow for blood work so I will speak to a nurse as its to late to speak to anybody now but I'm so angry with my self I feel like I messed up everything has anybody been in this similar situation before any help would be appreciated my mind is going over time at the moment

Hello, best to speak to the nurse and she can adjust the meds. However, just to assure you, I don't think it will have a adverse effect. It's possible to take doses up to 450iu and my Drs have always been flexible on the dose. The only difference for me has been a few more or less eggs. So you might get a few more eggs and medication wasted and may need more if you don't have enough.Only other potential risk is OHSS which would require monitoring, but only if your AFC or AMH suggests high response. They'll be able to scan you and give you a blood test to check.

Thank you for the advice I do have a high amh but I remember the last time I was on menopur 75 dosage and this is why I got confused as I thought I was on the same dosage but they have me on menopur 150 and why I mixed the 2 powders instead of 1 I didn't no until I took my dosage last night but thank god I checked its been only 3 days so I'm hoping I didn't mess up so much I will definitely let my nurse no when I go in this morning and I will happily go back to my normal dose if everything is okay this is a long stressful journey and you just want everything to go perfect hubby's been reassuring me it will be fine he nos I'm a overthinker and wouldn't get sleep lol

I understand the anxiety. I've made mistakes myself and overthought the whole process. But honestly I think you'll be fine. The nurse will sort you out. I look forward to seeing your BFP post in a few weeks!

I was just freaking out thinking they might cancel the cycle or something I wouldn't mind I never usually get any of my meds wrong so I was so angry with myself they are taken bloods today and I do have a scan for Sunday I will let you no how i get on if the nurses don't bit my head of lol

Ah yeah, i know the feeling. I wrote a checklist, was using it, and still started on fyremadel on the wrong day once 🤣

I think we just over thinking it sometimes🤣 just a update nurse rang me and said they checked my bloods and to just reduce my dosage to 150 what I should have been taking 🤣 and a scan on Sunday so hopefully it didn't affect me to much since they want to continue me on the low dose
