Some advice please
Hi, I'm in surgical menopause and have not felt 'well' for a number of years now. I won't bore you with the backstory of my trials and tribulations with HRT, all in the pursuit of feeling well enough to fully function. I've questioned Thyroid for some time, I had tests last September and posted them

Hi all It’s been a while since I posted on here. But I have a question regarding sleep. I have ET, Jak2, had it 7 years, and at the moment take aspirin and hydroxy. Had my telephone consultation yesterday and was pleased to hear my platelets are the lowest they’ve ever been at 355. Even though I

post hysterectomy issues?
I’ve just had a total hysterectomy because I had cancer. The surgeons assistant said there was a LOT of endometriosis stuck to everything. They had never diagnosed this (or indeed a second completely different cancerous tumour on my ovary) so now I’m thinking… what about the endometriosis? Is it all

HRT question
Hello, I've been on oestrogen and progesterone HRT since last summer and it's making me feel a great deal better generally. But I've found that during the two weeks of the cycle where I'm not on the progesterone, I get very anxious. Is there any way of taking the progesterone all month? I'm on two progesterone

Waxing or hair removal when on Warfarin
Hi. I just had a mechanical valve replacement on the 16th of August 2023. I would like to get waxed. Is it possible to? I have never bled before warfarin. Are there other hair removal methods that are safer or can I stick to waxing?

Advice on Blood results please?
Hi, I'm not diagnosed with any thyroid problems but have had numerous blood tests over the last 4 years because of severe menopause symptoms that have not responded to HRT. Would you be able to have a look and see what you think please? I have also included some of the vitamins tested.

subutex
does anyone have any experience of using subutex for restless legs? My mother has had a knee replacement and her restless legs are terribly severe and she is not sleeping at all. She is on progablin and we have taken her off the oxycodine as it was making things much worse, her whole body was shaking

it has been so helpful to read all the posts. I have only recently discovered this site. I started with PMR a few years ago and was put on Pred by my GP. 2yrs later I was diagnosed with GCA and went up to a higher dose. All of which helped with inflammation etc but I had the usual side affects. I was

I've got a fibroid removal date through for just over 4 weeks' time. It'll be under GA (last local procedure wasn't so effective, not all fibroid was removed, and it's since continued to grow). I'm on 2 x daily mini-pill, but have had almost daily bleeding since last September. Periods of very heavy

length of zoladex and tobelone- side effects felt?
I have been having zoladex injections since November once a month. They advised HRT in Jan due to me experiencing headaches/hot flushes and brain fog (which at the time was the worst) . Since then the mood changes have been a lot to deal with feeling unhappy and down. My sleep pattern is interrupted

Appointment at Endo Clinic - should I attend
Hi everyone. Hope you are all feeling as well as possible. Feeling like a fraud at the moment. I have been waiting well over a year for my first appointment at a BSGE centre (as many others have), it had been cancelled several times. I had a private consultation and MRI last September and I was diagnosed

Hi Peeps, I hope this UK sunshine has reached you over the last few days and that you are as well as you can be today. Help boosting thyroid without medication?
Hello all I have posted before as my thyroid function is poor but always comes back in range (my TSH never rises even with low levels) so no chance of medication on the NHS (other than statins for high cholesterol which I refuse). I did some recent tests TSH 1.95 (0.27-4.2) T4 14.6 (12-22) T3

And finally most recently having a

due to numerous falls on it. Besides the numerous broken bones I've had I've had more concussions than I care to count. Luckily I'm hardheaded.
