Cold water on leg

I had total knee replacement on my left knee 3 months ago. I still have fluid and pain. My leg has always had vericous veins. I am now getting the cold water down that leg and it looks like a dark rash is starting from knee down on back.

Advice pre surgery

I'm scheduled for a total knee replacement in February. I've been advised by my surgeon nit to gave my Abatacept injection for a month before. How can I keep my inflammation as low as possible before surgery. Also for a number of weeks after. Im very concerned. Thanks x

Heartburn

I’ve had gastro issues prior to PMR because of ibuprofen for knee problems ( total knee replacement at 43, the joy of nursing!) but managed to get off PPI and avoided food that caused pain. Reduced carbs and following Slimming World.

Has anyone taking Celebrex with Elquis together?

I am fixing to have a total Knee Replacement. My Otho Doctor wants me to take Celebrex. I take Elquis for AF. Has anyone had to do this? I have a big fear of taking it together.

Knee replacement, wound and shingles , what a month!

I had a Total Knee Replacement on 10/7 and it went really well, or so I thought. I ended up getting a very deep wound were my incision is and going to to wound clinic every week. Then I got shingles even though I am vaccinated! It's been very interesting.

Knee replacements - maybe TMI but if you are really interested ...

Those of you who have had or are expecting to have a total knee replacement may find it interesting. It is (literally) a blow by blow account of a knee replacement with explanations running alongside filmed at St Barts in London.

On going Pain after knee op

I had an op for total knee replacement last year, but still get a strange pain in the leg it feels like a bone moving under the knee , cracks and sends a pain through the leg. A bit like when you hit the funny bone in your arm but slightly more severe. Any ideas on what to do ?

Latest results and comparisons.

I just don't need the stress of having to argue with doctors who don't have the knowledge to treat me adequately, as my husband is getting home from hospital today after a total knee replacement and I need to try and focus on him.

Ankle arthritis pain before Total knee replacement

Hi, I am having a total knee replacement in a few weeks after an 18 month wait due to Covid. I’ve had 2 steroid injections in it, the most recent one being 5 weeks ago. This made my knee feel much better although bone-on-bone on one side so walking bow-legged, I could get around that much better.

Advice needed post total knee replacement

I had total left knee replacement surgery on 5th May with lymphedema in the same leg (I have it bilaterally in legs, hands and arms) Since surgery I developed cellulitis that Dr's did not accept and treat until 2 weeks afterwards. I now have an itchy rash around my knee scar.

It's In The Family

At present this normally effective medication is failing me following a total knee replacement 4 weeks ago. I would be interested to hear of anyone who may have had a similar experience. I am rather hoping that once my iron level is back to normal it may improve.

THE IKEA TEST?

about my first TKR - Total Knee Replacement. Consultant: "You do realise that the knee op I am recommending is an analgesic procedure, which should relieve most of the pain you are in now. It won't be as good as your knee used to be. What are your expectations?"

Knee Revision Surgery

Hi everyone. I had total knee replacements about two and a half years ago and one has continued to have swelling and pain.it was initially put down to a rheumatoid flare but they’ve now taken X Rays and say that it looks like it’s come loose. They’re suggesting revision surgery which is more invasive
