Another test with different results
I posted this in reply to myself....um probably not the best place! So am re posting as a fresh post. I wondered if there was anything else I should be doing whilst struggling with my GP. My GP explained that FT3 and FT4 didn’t matter, that doing blood tests could suggest problems which aren’t really

Hello, would anyone be kind enough to help me with my latest results? I have had an underactive thyroid since my early 20s and I have also been diagnoses with Hashimoto's, but do these results indicate I have now gone overactive? I had a full hysterectomy a year and a half ago and I'm not sure if that

Best supplementation?
Hello all, I’ve had a complex journey to say the least! After years of private testing due to unusual symptoms and results I have discovered I have secondary hypothyroidism under investigation currently for a pituitary tumour, but also now primary with hashimotos. I also have the gene SNP DIO2 polymorphism

Hi everyone! I just stumbled across this website again and thought it may be a good place to seek advice from others who may have gone through similar events. So my story is a bit of an odd one. I’m 29 years old and I had always had heavier periods that were more on the painful side. But I was able

Any advice please? Had TT June 22. Was started on 150mg Levo. Felt absolutely awful, couldn’t function. Had bloods done in Nov 22 and was found to be overmedicated (tsh 0.10 (0.27-4.2) and ft4 18.8 (12-22), so dropped to 150/125mg per day. Initially, for first couple months was better than I was (still

Fybro the answer to everything?
Has any one found that when you go to your specialist and you tell them about a joint pain they automatically reply with, "well you have fybo so..." This has happened to me so many times. One example being that I was getting issues with my left shoulder. The pain was like nothing I've had before. It

Taking 60 mcg daily of T3 medication, have low TSH and low T4, FT3 is within normal range.
Had hypothyroidism since 2000. Took levothyroxine 150mcg for 14years, felt very unwell, lots of hypo symptoms. Prescribed T3 60mcg on NHS in 2014, felt great for about a year before hypo symptoms returned. GP suggested increasing T3 to 80mcg, said to monitor symptoms, no bloods as I would evidently
