I think ive asked this before so apologies. Is there anybody in perimenopause with endometriosis symptoms (undiagnosed here) that uses only utrogestan HRT? Thanks

Hi, apologies I've only just joined here - in short yes me. I have taken Utrogestan 200mg daily at bed time (no other medications nor hormones) and it has helped incredibly well with my endo pain, and I'm thinking of it as a bonus if it helps mitigate any perimenpause issues also. As I think my hormone balance is still off (endo progressing etc) I might try 300mg daily for a while which from my research looks to be sort of the upper recommended limit... Best of luck

Hi did you have any bad symptoms from taking Utrogestan? I have just started and woke up this morning with terrible cramps and utterly exhausted. I have endo but started to help with peri menopause symptoms especially mood etc. hoping it will help x

Oh gosh I am so sorry to hear that! I started at 100mg for a while and noticed nothing (apart from less endo pain with my cycle) I was then ok’d by doctor to go up to 200mg and again no side effects but I am very sure I’ve been low on progesterone throughout my life. I hope the issues settle and it helps. One of my favourite sources for information is a lady named Lara Briden she was the one through her blogs/videos who got me to ask for utrogestan in the first instance. Take care, hugs x
