Menopause

Been going through the menopause for 3 yrs now and been on HRT, I've just started a new relationship I tried the mini pill and I bleed for 14 days , has anyone tried the mini pill ? And will this calm down after a few months ? Or would the marina coil be better ? Can anyone give me any advice please on this ? Thankyou

Hi I went on Kliovance 13 years ago at 49. It is fantastic. Same dose every day. Still have active sex life and it has been great for maintaining lubrication, libido and reducing arthritis pain and inflamation - bone density is great too and no migrains/headaches. Hope this helps - as I know everyone is different.

Hi I'm still in the menopause , I was looking more for a contraception option whilst taking HRT I've tried the mini pill but had constant bleeding for the first 14 days 😥 the doctors didn't seem very helpful ..

Ahh difficult - I had my son at 45 so do take precautions if it would not be a happy event (totally unexpected and as it turned out the best thing that every happened for me). Checked with friends for you and one had a coil and also took HRT. Another takes progesterone only pill and hrt - some bleeding at first - not as much as yours 5 or 6 days she thinks.

Ok thankyou for your help ...I think might give the mini pill another go 😀 and see how it goes ...
