My Efforts to Educate the Scientific Community
I have written an article about my RLS experience which I have been working to disseminate in the medical and research communities. Valve Replacenent
I am awaiting a mitral valve replacement and am in the age bracket where either a mechanical or biologic valve would be suitable. Looked into pro’s and con’s of each but still struggling to make my decision. Any advice please.

Zoladex delay
Hi All, has anyone postponed one of their monthly Zoladex injections by a week? Any issues in that week? My situation is that I have a consultant appointment to review how I’ve got on with Zoladex (and, on the basis of my response, aid the decision making process on how much to do in surgery) booked

Thank you and recent results
This community gave me so much support about a month ago, when I posted about untreated Hypothyroid in pregnancy. Unfortunately I miscarried a week later, and I won't have any way of knowing if my thyroid was really the cause. I've taken some time to recover, but wanted to come back here and say thank

Panic and panic attacks
Hi I’ve had panic attacks this year (four full blown ones) and a few attacks that I managed to avoid by taking deep breaths until they passed I never suffered from these before despite suffering with anxiety all my life for which I take Setraline I’m wondering if it is because I am now taking Thyroid

perimenopause and heart stuff!
at 49 I’ve finally realised the not sleeping and feeling head fog for the past years is not having a late child (7 now) and a stent (1.5 now), it’s perimenpause as I’m now getting a lot of hot flushes (heat not helping here!). Periods still normal if closer together. But I’ve also being having more

Zoladex and HRT
Spoke to surgeonSo my surgeon rang yesterday and explained why they aborted the hysterectomy on Tuesday. He said my cervix was fused to my bowel and possibly left ovary and my rectum had been pulled down too. He said it looked to be endometriosis that had been there a long, long time and they wouldn't

coming off oxicodone
Despite the victorious stopping of my RLS, i am still struggling with sleep. I have been taking 10mg of oxicodone. One dose at night. But it had been making me dog tired and zombie like during day. I have read lots on here about spreading the dose but i want to come off it. I am starting to cut it down

Can anyone offer some help regarding my Ferritin levels for my RLS please.
Hi! I'm after some support and recommendations please. I started running as my BP has gone into high range. Unfortunately, shortly after, I started to get RLS at night. I don’t know if exercise and RLS are linked, but I need to continue to exercise, to help manage my high BP and Hba1c. Unfortunately
