Does Anyone Feel?
I am wondering if its possible to feel as well on thyroid replacement as I did pre hypothyroid. Just for background looking back 4 years ago I felt really fit and healthy, had plenty of energy, was going to the gym. Then the pandemic hit and my gym closed down and went bust. In June 2020 I finally started

B12 injection before my hip replacement
Hi I have B12 injections every 12 weeks from my GP but inject every 3 weeks at home. My question is should I inject a couple of days before I go in? I feel absolutely exhausted and in continual pain. Your answers will be much appreciated. I have it done on the 24th April. Thankyou.

Levothyroxine and Menopause
Hi all, I had thyroid cancer many years ago and had a thyroidectomy. I’ve been on levothyroxine for 21 years. I’m in my early 50’s and menopausal. I’ve started HRT which still needs to adjusted BUT the Endocrinologist is lowering my levothyroxine. I exercise regularly and have a very physical job

no help from the gp
I have not been diagnosed - my doctor has no idea and can’t find someone to refer me to. I have a few questions and feel this might be the best place to get answers as mu GP is no help. I broke my hip 2 years ago and walked around on it for 6 months before I got to the stage I couldn’t get out off bed

Best HRT for...
I have just gone through actual menopause and have had a number of symptoms creep into my life steadily over the past 10 odd years. To help manage them and minimise risk of CVD, Type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis, etc., I am going to embrace HRT and, fingers crossed, get a bit of 'me' back.I know there are

Post Menopausal Fibroids
I am 62 and have been diagnosed with fibroids as a result of CT and US scans. Pelvic pain is constant, often severe. My HRT has been switched to Tibolone which I am told will not ‘feed’ the fibroids. I am waiting for an NHS gynae referral appointment which will not be anytime soon as there is a huge

I'm not doing so good, rls back with a vengeance, had to go back on the hrt gel as I found my rls was way worse after stopping it, I'm crawling all over, day and night since

prostap and osteopenia
Morning. So, I have been on prostap about 2 years now with hrt while awaiting a lap which is luckily booked for the 6th July. I had a dexa scan in January and they only contacted me with the results last week. Apparently the bone density scan shows I have osteopenia due to the injection and I need to

Possible CRPS?
I was diagnosed with Small Bowel Crohn’s Disease in the early 1970’s and had 18” of small intestine removed. I was on steroids for a while, then codeine for diarrhoea. Later diagnosed with Bile Salt Malabsorption. When I was around fifty the joint pain which I’d always suffered from since childhood began
