prostap and osteopenia

Morning. So, I have been on prostap about 2 years now with hrt while awaiting a lap which is luckily booked for the 6th July. I had a dexa scan in January and they only contacted me with the results last week. Apparently the bone density scan shows I have osteopenia due to the injection and I need to stop my prostap with immediate effect. Luckily I will only miss one before my lap so shouldn’t really effect my pain. I’m so annoyed though. Since my dexa scan I’ve continued to get prostap, so another 5 injections. I don’t understand how it’s taken this long for the results. If I’d known earlier I’d have stopped the injections immediately. I don’t know if I’ve made the osteopenia worse in that time. On a positive, I’d have had longer without the prostap so my endo may have been worse but would have looked at other options. Guess I just wanted a rant. My prostap would have been today and I’m in pain. Really hoping the lap helps.
