horrible scaly rash
For the last 3 months I`ve had a red scaly rash on my right thigh. It doesn`t itch or hurt, but it looks repulsive, like the skin of a reptile. Iv`e read that this can be a sign of underactive thyroid, but surely the medication I`m on should take care of this? I put tons of aqueous cream on it, but it

Sjogrens sicca dry overheated skin symptoms are even worse for me this winter than ever. Complicated by my raynauds being simultaneous with erythromelalgia, all are secondary to my infant onset systemic lupus.....along with various other typical secondaries. Advice please: prescription emollients
Sjogrens sicca dry overheated skin symptoms are even worse for me this winter than ever. Complicated by my raynauds being simultaneous with erythromelalgia I've had enough years learning to manage all this, and trying various over the counter moisturising products. So far, Aqueous cream doesn't work

Will I be put on meds for discoid lupus?
Hi everyone. Can anyone tell me what will happen now that I have been diagnosed with discoid lupus? I have a lot of mild symptoms of SLE but my ANA test was negative. I was given Elocon cream and told to return to dermy in 6-8 weeks. I wasn't given anything for my other symptoms though. Feeling confused

It was then that my left leg was infected resulting in cellulitus which eventually developed in to Lymphodoema in both legs. Unfortunately there

Skin tight like a drum and pinching, any ideas?
I am 36 +4 and the skin on my belly is really tight and pulling. Had a scan yesterday and they said I had a lot of fluid and that was probably why but walking, bending and such is painful and I'm worried about skin pulling too much, Not sure what would happen. Using aqueous cream and moisturizer but

Travel Insurance. I was advised by BC consultant to have BC/ Lymphoedema excluded from my travel insurance. I did this for 3 years.

Rash on lower legs, now awaiting result of blood test.
I went back to my GP last week and said that I suspect the rash is probably connected to the fact that I have Underactive Thyroid and have taken Thyroxine tablets since October 2000. The GP does not seem very interested but he gave me a form to have a blood test which I did today. I shall ask for the

Itchy Cream
I have urticaria, a skin condition that amonst other things makes my hands and feet itch and pregnancy really makes it worse. I use menthol aqueous cream, it cools the skin, moisturizes it and helps broken skin heal. I would be lost without it, the last time I was pregnant I hadn't thought of it and
