Itchy Cream

I have urticaria, a skin condition that amonst other things makes my hands and feet itch and pregnancy really makes it worse. I use menthol aqueous cream, it cools the skin, moisturizes it and helps broken skin heal. I would be lost without it, the last time I was pregnant I hadn't thought of it and it near drove me mad at night. I have read in other posts that many people relate itchiness to heat so I wonder if it will help others too. It's called Derma Cool and can be got from the chemist. My midwife has had it checked and says it's ok to use. Apparently oatmeal baths are good, anybody tried those?
