Shoulder pain and CABG
Hi Everyone, This is odd - for the last 3 or 4 weeks I'm getting a nasty pain in my shoulder from time to time. To explain fully, I had my CABGx3 in June of 2018. Some of the early posts I read on joining this forum back then from people having the same surgery complained of shoulder pain post op. It

Partial wrist fusion
Had a partial fusion done in May this year, ive had nothing but botber and pain since it was done. I still can't lift even a spoon, nor drive my car with confidence now, can't even write my name. Seems it's the worst decision I've ever made. Question is , can it be reversed back to what it was before

Costochondritis following CABG
Hi everyone I wanted to find out if anyone else had suffered from costochondritis after their CABG? I am 3 months post surgery. It’s causing me quite a lot of discomfort and pain around my sternum and across my chest particularly whilst exercising. My GP has injected some steroids around the area but

SHINGLES
I have posted this to advise that CABg patients can ask for a shingles injection, like the flu jab. At this time only available to those over 70, however Dr's will take cabg as high risk. I was diagnosed with Shingles last night after an emergency appointment. Symptoms started with a feeling of having

81 year old mum- secondary hypo?
I’m still trying to help my lovely old mum who has no diagnosis of thyroid disease but is still suffering from low mood and many of the symptoms I had before I introduced T3. She’s been told to return to doctor in a year unless symptoms increase. Her in range TSH has always confounded me, due to my

Rapidly progressing coronary disease
So, this is what i have been diagnosed with after a previous stent and now CABG. FRom what i have read it doesn't paint a healthy picture for me. Wondered if anyone else has had this particular diagnosis. All the odds of a 10-15 year life span seem to have gone out of the window. If anyone has been told

Normal Bloods, but enlarged thyroid.
Hi guys, I've read around the forum but can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for. I have an enlarged thyroid both sides, and a lump on the right side, about an inch in size. I can feel the thyroid but its really only noticable by touch, by sight the swelling is only just noticable. My symptoms

Ongoing heart things
I was a member of the Online Community but didn't know it had changed. I had a CABG 13 years ago and have lived a healthy life since then until earlier this year when I started to get angina attacks. I didn't realise straight away, nor did one of my doctors, as the pain was more in my left side to start

CONTINUED TIREDNESS - 4 MONTHS AFTER BYPASS CABG
How many other people have this continued tiredness? As normal a life as possible, exercise, walking, sensible food, no smoking, no alcohol. Sleep is also a problem, but not from pain. Love to hear from anyone with similar and if there is ever a remedy.
