Hi would anybody explain for me please some terminology in regards to information on discharge notes. My mum had two stents last week. States findings are severe native LAD disease and severe promimal R CA disease. Had stents fitted she had previous cabg x3 in Devember 2017. She is still breathless and dosnt see any improvement from before. Would results be instant. Cardiologist doesn't want to see jer for three months and I dont really feel like anything has been explained about what they found??

Terminology Help LAD & RCA
RCA is the Right Coronary Artery and the LAD the Left Anterior Descending artery. Sorry to hear she needed stents so soon after a CAGB (coronary artery graft bypass). It is early days yet so the stents may not have settled in. I imagine someone with experience of stents will be along shortly. Also did they change any meds at the same time?
Thanks for reply Michael. Yes quite worrying so soon after her bypass. I think that LAD was one of the bypassed arteries. No not changed any medication. Still on a lot since the bypass. She had furosemide and a slow releasing nitrate added early on in the year when she was admitted with chest pains but she was diagnosed by the general doctors not cardiologist with heart failure though her cardiologist didnt agree with this. She already takes ticagrelor so no need to add anything after stents. We had thought the tiredness and breathlessness was due to medication as did her cardiologist until her ct agiogram.
