.? Endocarditis
9 months ago I had a new aortic valve and a single cabg where the mammary artery was used. Recovery was a bit eventful, back with my cardiologist now, who did a telephone conversation with me about 2 weeks ago. One concern I have, I’m female by the way, the left breast towards the inside I get like toothache

Recent A&E visit with heart palpitations
Monday of last week called 999 after a weekend of feeling unwell with pounding heart beat of up to 150 beats. Was told in A&E that it was atrial fibrillation and to increase bisoprolol and I would be called back later. Letter receive today telling me to see my GP if it reoccurs as I have a history of

Still in hospital and being a wimp....
So after atrial flutter in 2015 (cardioverted in 48hrs), I then had a hybrid atrial fibrillation/flutter last August. To cut a long story short after 5.5 weeks trying to control it at home and in hospital I was cardioverted again following a TOE. In December Papworth decided I should have an ablation

Hi Boris Just to let you know You will never forget the Names of the Nurses who cared for you. Hi - I am 68 - not overweight - (12stone - 5’ 8”) so not exactly lean and mean either! 😊 I had a double bypass using mammary gland and lower leg vein 11 months ago. Recovered really well - still a bit numb in left chest and lower leg areas but I have driven to and all over Spain 4 months after the op

Back in hospital...
Had a nasal skin graft on Tuesday. This is to stop more bleeds so I can tolerate ablation. But 30 hours later I'm back in Afib. I think it is triggered by dehydration (eight hours without liquid, I did warn them) Yesterday they said they would do TOE and Cardioversion. Then at 10pm they suddenly put

A stopgap measure to treat respiratory distress.
Repurposing a drug used for blood clots may help Covid-19 patients in danger of respiratory failure, researchers suggest.
Researchers at MIT and the University of Colorado at Denver have proposed a stopgap measure that they believe could help Covid-19 patients who are in acute respiratory distress

Hi. New to this forum. I had a heart attack and CABG x3 last October. I've since completed a cardiac rehabilitation course. Is the Couch to 5k programme suitable for me? Any advice greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

Strange Coincidence??
Hi all, I was diagnosed with seto positive RA may 2018, on 22.5 mg methotrexate pills and 200mg hydroxy. All in all, been pottering along quite well. Hate tablet day, but it's soon over with! I don't suffer too bad, feet are the worst, but compared to when I couldn't walk at diagnosis, pretty good.

Advice
So I was cut as a baby and have to deal with this my whole life, I don't really have much sensation in my dick, I'm assuming because of my circumcision, I was wondering if a revision surgery would help the stimulation, make it look better And improve my confidence, after looking at the picture what

Online workouts
Hi All, So as we are all now self isolating and staying home as much as possible it means I can't go out on my CABG post op daily walks. Can anyone recommend any good online workouts (YouTube videos, online sites etc) I could do at home to keep my recovery on track please? Thanks Brian
