Just to let you know You will never forget the Names of the Nurses who cared for you.
I am almost 5 years post CABG and I can still picture Kerri Ann a young Australian CC Nurse who looked after me when I was rather poorly after the operation. Every time I came round Kerri Ann was there taking care of me.
She stayed very calm when I decided to remove the ventilator tube from my throat which did cause some chaos in the CCU !!!
The other person who I remember was a Young Physiotherapist when I was ready to leave the HDU for the ward a Nurse came with a wheel chair.
Sarah the physio asked would I like to try to walk?? with that she took my hand and walked me to the Ward. That was the start of my Recovery.
So Boris you will never forget them, just remember what they did for you.
Like I and thousands like us owe an awful lot to the people who carried for us when we really needed to be cared for.
Get well soon.
This is not a political message just a gentle reminder not to forget.

Hi, l have recently been in touch with the two lTU nurses who helped save my life when l was at deaths door, l called them short bird and tall bird because the difference in height was about two feet, they thought it was so funny. Even though it was over three years ago they were so pleased to hear from me, remembered me and all the names of my family (l spent 3 months at the BRl) l didn't ask any questions about Coronavirus but am just so grateful to know that these two young angel nurses who were by my side 24/7 in my fight for life are OK. l don't think anyone of us will ever forget how the NHS saved us, and the staff who ALL made a difference. Stay safe my virtual friends, Sue x
