Tibolone

hi ladies, im on prostap3 with tibolone, due my 2nd 3 monthly injection tomorrow, but ive been having light bleeding (bit more than spotting) everyday, ive read that it could be a side effect of the tibolone?.

Hi I have tried and failed with trying to be active and managing pain. I have stage 4 endo extensive. All organs are adhered to each other. I also have mixed connective tissue disease and being treated with hydroxychloroquine. I have been on zoladex and Tibilone for 2 years waiting for a hysterectomy

on decapeptyl and Tibolone add back hrt, the Tibolone is really not agreeing with me! Any one know of any good alternatives? My consultant just said to ask go for another but didn’t tell me the names of any particular ones!

Im all taking tibolone?

I started taking decapeptyl and tibolone 2 months ago. Whilst I think things have started to improve, my skin is irritated by everything. Has anyone else experienced this whilst on the medications?

I'm waiting to start prostap 3 injections and tibolone hrt which I was supposed to start this week but now been pushed back to next month as doctors messed up my period dates.

I’m also on Tibolone and I don’t think that I missed any tabs so oestrogen withdrawal bleeding not possible.

I am wondering why my gynae (who specialises in Endo) would've prescribed Tibolone rather than proper HRT.

Hi, I’m on Decapeptyl for large fibroids- went for 4 months on the injections with add back tibolone, during which time heavy bleeding never ceased. I stopped tibolone and went a few months without hrt with no adverse effects and no bleeding.

What shall I expect in the coming days after please to any of you lovely ladies that have had this along with tibolone hrt , thanks in advance

Afternoon ladies, I’ve had a confirmation I’ll be seeing my gynae next week (Monday) to start prostap injections and tibolone (HRT) can anyone share their experience with these medications? I’m 29 and needing to have this in the run up to my surgery which could be anytime up to 2 years.

Hi I’ve had 6 decapeptyl injections due my 7 later this week and I started taking HRT tibolone a week ago as the insomnia and anxiety was getting too much.. the last few days my mood has been all over the place & today I hate everyone and everything which I’m aware is very unreasonable and I’m blaming

Hi everyone, I’m still on prostap and wondered if anyone had come off tibolone to the evrol patches? How did you find it, any side effects? My consultant has advised the change as my mood is so low, honestly I blame the prostap it’s been a devil drug for me! Thanks in advance!

Just got back from my first gynaecologist appointment and walked away smiling …after being listened to ,appointments are now being mad to finally have a mri and laparoscopy and been put on hormone treatment…. goserelin injection and Tibolne! She hasn’t confirmed as yet her proposed treatment plan, as still awaiting some bloods, but has implied in a letter that she’ll likely treat with COC like Tibolone, from which I presume she means HRT (Im 48 and until the last 3 months have been regular as clockwork on my cycle with no signs of menopause

so back at my last consultation with my consultant he gave me a years prescription to pass to my doctor to have medication to shrink my fibroid before my surgery for sometime next year. he has prescribe either Zoladeu, Prostap or Tibilone to be used. but having read the information on each of these

I’m on prostap 3monthly and add back tibolone for a max of 2years then a hysterectomy. I’m on my second injection and so far everything has been great, minimal pain and side effects seemed to have calmed down with HRT. However tonight I felt the dreaded feeling, I have started to bleed!

I wanted to ask if these symptoms are due to my natural hormones depleting and if it was possible to either increase my Tibolone or add an oestrogen patch alongside my Tibolone. Has anyone been in this situation and what did you change?
