hi ladies, im on prostap3 with tibolone, due my 2nd 3 monthly injection tomorrow, but ive been having light bleeding (bit more than spotting) everyday, ive read that it could be a side effect of the tibolone?. Gyne doctor said everything should of stopped by now and she will review me in 6months - not much help at all.
Just wondering if anyone else has had this too?

I'm on a similar drug. I decapeptyl and kliogest. I have due my second 3 month jab next week.
I have had bleeding continuously since about 2 weeks after the first one.
Two different types. I have had ovulation pain with proper bleeding two weeks later 3 times and I have also had spotting with a bit heavier after exercise throughout the three months.
Im still v bloated but pain is vastly reduced and bleeding on all counts getting lesser and lesser.
I'm keen for the next injection as I hope it will finally stop everything but as with everything in this situation who know what will happen, I everyone has different response.
Glad to hear I'm not the only one though that the injection doesn't stop everything as promised.
thank you, im hoping it will slow down and stop after the 2nd injection and i will ask the nurse about it too, she maybe more help than the actual consultant. X
Hi Gemma, I didn't completely stop bleeding until my 7th injection but I had very large fibroids. The prostap did reduce the blood loss I was having every month which was leading me to becpme anaemic and resulted in having to have iron infusions.
oh gosh, i hope you'll be ok. They havent given me my injection now today bacause my consultant hasnt forwarded the letter to the gp so now it will be late. Im furious its like one step forward and two back all the time x
