Prostap and bleeding

Hi everyone.

I’m on prostap 3monthly and add back tibolone for a max of 2years then a hysterectomy.

I’m on my second injection and so far everything has been great, minimal pain and side effects seemed to have calmed down with HRT.

However tonight I felt the dreaded feeling, I have started to bleed!

Has anyone else had bleeds this far in to prostap please? Is it normal?

Hi I did to start with and then they changed my hrt and it stopped. I had my injections monthly though too x sorry if that isn't much help

I’m on decapeptyl which I think is similar and got tibolone and into second month and have also had a really heavy bleed - was spotting constantly before that … ring ur specialist as that’s what I’m going to do. I have seen mixed research that it can take two months to settle while others say a month. Maybe the body’s way of clearing out estrogen xxx

I am on prostap awaiting a hysterectomy. I've been on prostap with tibilone previously and started bleeding. I had to stop the tibilone last time. It could be the fluctuations in hormones possibly. Seek doctors advice.
