Hi, I have stage 4 endometriosis and last year I was diagnosed as having a large endometrioma in my left ovary (chocolate cyst). It wasn’t causing me a lot of grief but endo symptoms started to tire me so asked to go onto Zoladex (3rd time in last 10 years)
Last Thursday I had my 4th injection and day later I stated to notice brown discharge. I’m a little concerned as I shouldn’t have any discharge, and wondered if any of you experienced this? It could be that it’s the cyst that is “bleeding”? I’m also on Tibolone and I don’t think that I missed any tabs so oestrogen withdrawal bleeding not possible.

I have chocolate cysts too. Mine have created kissing ovaries.
I dont have experience of bleeding but would say get it checked, I know at the moment getting any medical advice is very difficult (or it is where I live). My cysts burst after I was told this is very rare.
I just think as women we have all these symptoms of things and we try to deal with it, so I would ring your GP or whoever you can that will have an understanding.
For peace of mind and reassurance more than anything.
Good to hear from you. Sorry to hear about the large endometrioma on your ovary. I had an endometrioma removed in surgery, which was very painful.
I agree with My_adventures that it would be sensible to contact your GP or endo specialist about the bleeding and ask if it needs to be investigated. They will be able to advise you for sure. Hope everything is okay.
Hi. I had zoladex for 3 months and for the first month I had a small period with spotting. My doctor told me that while zoladex stops periods in most ladies, for a small portion of women, you can still get periods / light spotting, so it might just be that? It might be good just chatting to your doctor too if you can though. X
