Coming off tibolone to Evrol

Hi everyone,

I’m still on prostap and wondered if anyone had come off tibolone to the evrol patches? How did you find it, any side effects?

My consultant has advised the change as my mood is so low, honestly I blame the prostap it’s been a devil drug for me!

I'm currently on prostap for over 2 years now, awaiting a hysterectomy, why are you on prostap and how long?

Hello,I’m on it following excision for endo and suspected adenomyosis for pain management until a hysterectomy.

I started it last October and was told for no longer than 2 years xx

Hello, I feel for you, I went into hospital in 2019 for my hysterectomy and came round and got told they couldn't do it as my bowel is attached to my womb. I have to travel further to a more specialised hospital and surgeon to have a hysterectomy. I have suspected adeno, fibroids and suffered so many years of heavy bleeding with clots and non stop pain. My surgeon gave me the choice of staying on prostap for the next 10 years or so but there's no long term studies I can find on staying on it for that long. I have a 50% chance of ending up with a colostomy but it's like what's the lesser of two evils. I had a dream last night I got told I had 2 weeks to live. Feeling very anxious lately.
