Hypo to hyper!
Stopped thyroxine and having to retest bloods again in few weeks to determine if it’s a case of over medication (I’m pretty sure this isn’t the case), Graves’ disease or possibly postpartum
thyroiditis
. Any advice is helpful as I’m more clued up on hypo than hyper.

Thyroidectomy Versus Medical Management for Euthyroid Patients With Hashimoto Disease and Persisting Symptoms: A Randomized Trial
Abstract Background: Hashimoto disease is a chronic autoimmune
thyroiditis
. Despite adequate hormone substitution, some patients have persistent symptoms that may be the result of immunologic pathophysiology.

Worried about taking levothyroxine for first time
I`ve got Autoimmune
thyroiditis
. My TSH has shot up to 27, but my t4 is normal. I have no symptoms of hypothyroidism, I feel fine, but mt GP wants me to start taking levothyroxine 25mcg to support my thyroid + hopefully stop things developing any further.

Bilateral carpal tunnel syndrome is certainly seen in ‘low thyroid’, and significantly Mrs J.S. had a sister with ‘Hashimotos
thyroiditis
’ – and underactive thyroid with auto-immune features. As with all her other tests the thyroid blood tests were ‘borderline’.

Hashimoto Thyroiditis
In 2013 I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and in 2015 they found out that it was Hashimoto
thyroiditis
. At 21 years old I'm constantly battling with my TSH levels which are progressively getting worse despite me taking 200mg of levothyroxine.

Anti gastric par cell?
I was told that I have Pernicious anemia but I also read that that can mean autoimmune
thyroiditis
.......I’m confused. My thyroid antibodies are very high at 216. The range here is max 0.06, my eosinophils are too high, cholesterol too high.

subacute thyroiditis
Possible diagnosis of subacute
thyroiditis
with nodules. My thyroid gland is swollen with neck compression, nodules against my arteries. Possibly sent to endocrinologist. I've been reading that usually removal isn't recommended more of a treatment with medication is usually done.

Pointers and suggestions?
After an ultrasound scan on my thyroid (and seeing
thyroiditis
and a nodule present) my doctor then requested new bloods. My tsh was now in range (3.4)ish but at my request, she upped my dose to 75 as I was keen to get tsh around 1. (as suggested to me on here and nice guidelines.)
