Hi I would appreciate any feedback you can kindly offer. I had covid back in jan and although it was mild my eyes went red. I have had all the symptoms of subacute thyroiditis since . Good and bad days. Dry eyes tired ,soft stools, weird anxiety, teeth weird sore neck and the feeling of a marble in my thyroid. I managed to insist on my GP to do another full blood test after a bit of fuss.

TSH 2.67mU/m. 0.4-4.0

Free thyroxine 13.5 pmol/L 11.5-22.7

Free T3 5.8 pmol/L 3.3-6.1

He said the results all seem healthy ? My last blood test had a TSH of 1.36

He said I could take some meds but I feel reluctant to do this in case I get used to them and start a dependency . Does any one have any thoughts on the results? What should I do. It’s hard to put my finger on it as sometimes I’m ok? I eat v healthy and don’t drink or smoke. Thanks in advance

Was thyroid test done early morning

Suggest you get vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 levels tested

Plus cholesterol

High cholesterol levels linked to hypothyroidism

You might want to include getting thyroid antibodies tested
