I was diagnosed with postpartum thyroiditis hyper in November 2021 I wasn’t medicated my levels have been normal for months after but I’m still experiencing palpitations .My Apple Watch is showing afib I’m waiting for further tests as I also Have mild mvp for 7 years these type of palpitations started when I was having hyper symptoms. I also feel really fatigued I have had private testing for my thryoid but have had the palpitations feeling of skipped paused beats for 8 months now will it eventually go away my cardiologist said it was afib going of my Apple Watch readings but I’m having another echo scan and monitor for 5 days. The cardiologist said it would go away but I feel it’s been along time already and I’m really scared and I feel awful Any help or suggestions please or anyone going through a similar situation I have posted most recent ecg also have copies of my thyroid panel

Hi Stacey 38 years ago I too had post partum hyperthyroidism At that time I had two small children to care for and I thought if I told anyone how I was really feeling they would whisk me into an 'institution' so I carried on. The palpitations were really difficult. My husband said it might help if I went running. I quietly shook my head knowing that the last thing my poor heart needed was even more exercise. Thyroid tests came back negative even though I told the GP I had all the symptoms of thyroid probs after reading about it in a mag in the waiting room. It would be another three years of putting my family through hell before I was diagnosed. During those years I had both hypo and hyper symptoms. I think my thyroid levels were swinging all over the place. With hindsight I now know I should have asked for my TSH, T4 and T3 to be checked. Possibly more than once. I should have asked for a paper copy of the results and looked to see if my T3 and or T4 results were near the bottom of the normal range. If they were, I should have sat in the GP's office with a written list of all my symptoms (you will have many others apart from the palps I'm sure) and refused to move until they agreed to start treating me for a thyroid problem. My son was six when I was finally diagnosed. Even now I could weep when I think of those terrible times Don't waste any more time. Post your results on here if you are unsure. We will all be keen to help. Good luck.

Your T3 appears to be above range which would account for your hyper symptoms ( if that is the 4th figure down- the results are a bit blurry).
