I was surprised tbh as he is normally really good and this is the first phone consult I've had with him as he's normally f2f. I asked about

Vitamins?
I am reducing my dose to 75mg as per previous post (TSH 0.035 0.27-4.2T4 21.5 12-22 and T3 4.4. 3.1-6.8) I was wondering about my supplements and what I could take to help. I have restarted my Vit D300+K2 spray. Inflammation CRP 3.07 <3 Ferritin 230 30-332 Folate

More test results to understand
I have now seen an endocrinologist and had another set of tests. My TSH is not measurable at < 0.02, my FT4 is within range at 20.9 (11-22.7) and my FT3 is 5.9 (3.5 -6.5), much higher than it has ever been before. My previous results on 15/04 were TSH 0.02, FT4 23.6 (12-22), FT3 4.7 (3.1-6.8). These

Tirosint - can anyone advise how I can find out if this brand is available in my area?
I am struggling to access lactose free Levothyroxine at my GP surgery’s pharmacy and have read that Tirosint has fewer excipients than most brands of T4 and wondered if anyone could advise me the best way forward for accessing this brand/or other similar brands? Many thanks.

ferritin level suddenly jumped.. can this happen??
hello forum friends. I went to my gp last week and requested a referral for an iron infusion. I said I’d pay for a private haematology initial consultation if necessary. he’s referred me via nhs but I had to have up to date iron tests.. My ferritin mid June was 32. I had been taking three arrows

Do I have scope for an increase?
My last results for T4 & T3 are above - I'm wondering if I could benefit from a small thyroxine increase... currently on 150mcg T4 and 12.5mcg T3 daily. I'm 25 weeks pregnant and struggling with low energy. Want to be in tip top condition for the birth as I had a long one last time and I believe my levels

BP normal after liothyronine reduction
For a number of reasons and with agreement of my endocrinologist, I reduced my liothyronine from 15mcg a day to 10mcg. I also take 100mcg Levo daily. I’ve been on the reduced dose over 4 weeks. I have terrible anxiety about having my bp taken. I monitor it at home and it usually starts high, so I meditate

Thyroid test results
I’ve been taking 200mg of thyroxine for most of my adult life. Now the doctors have reduced to 150mg I returned to the doctors to say I felt awful. All my symptoms were returning. So they issued another blood test. They have came back saying my TSH level is too low and reduced my dose even more.

Interesting paper
Apologies if this has been posted somewhere before. This is an American paper looking at Canadian policy, but as a T3 only patient, and as I still have issues now and again (like this week!) I found the content very interesting. I’m actually now wondering whether I trial 60mcg split into 3 rather than

Advanz/Mercury Pharma Liothyronine - Out of Stock
For those of you who are taking the above brand of T3, apparently Alliance Healthcare is the sole supplier of this particular brand of T3. I telephoned Alliance and there is a problem at the moment regarding distribution. It's stuck at the main depot waiting to be delivered to other smaller depots
