I am now on 100 Levo and 30mg T3. Feeling good except i dive before my 11.30am dose. Stuggling to loose weight and feel rough of i stray back onto Gluton. But i suppose thats to be expected. I have a split dose of T3.

going up the walls
guys I am seeking advice. after having my children in 2013 and 2015 I have never been the same person. I have suffered with every single symptom of hypothyroidism. in the end i actually went hyper for a few years which other than the hair loss and lack of sleep I thought I’d become well again. Well

Low T4
Hi I have been taking 40mg liothyronine for 10 + years - this has never been changed. Recent trip to A & E ( very high BP) the Dr queried my low T4 levels but my GP is saying that this is normal with someone taking T3 meds.I would be very grateful for reassurance that my GP is correct .

Doctor says T3 is unnecessary
I’ve got an underactive thyroid and have severe fatigue as well as other symptoms (dry eyes, weight gain, low immune system, eyebrow hair loss). I started levothyroxine about 3 years ago and am currently on 125mcg. Apparently I should have started treatment in 2014 after repeated infections and a

T3 Dosing times
Hi all, I recently listened to an excellent podcast from Dr Amie Hornaman about timings and taking thyroid hormone to get the most out of the medication. Ie taking only with water and 1hr each side of eating or drinking anything (other than water). It has triggered me to be much more stringent on taking

Looking for a substitute for NP Thyroid/Armor Thyroid in Europe
Hello all, I am currently in Europe running out of options to refill my NP Thyroid medication. From what I have found online, Armor Thyroid is an equivalent, and after asking my US Doctor, he said it should be ok to take. I have tried via Roseway labs but, not being a UK citizen, the doctor isn't sure

Help with recent blood tests please
Hi all, Further to previous posts… Endo finally prescribed T3 5ug and had advised reducing T4 from 100 ug to 75 ug which I was reluctant to do as I felt so awful after reducing from 125ug on 12/01/24. Previous bloods taken on 22/02/24 while on 100ug T4 for previous 6 weeks : T4 19.5 ( 12-22 range)

Thyroid test results - any thoughts please?
Hi everyone, I’ve had some repeat bloods taken last week. When I posted my last results from Feb this year, it was suggested that they indicated possible central/secondary hypothyroidism and low-ish B12. Can anyone advise me if these latest results are an improvement, or if I should still seek some

Just a question if I can. Has anyone been told that T3 is the same as T4 medication? Your thoughts please as I am confused.

Is this too much Armour, too soon?
A month ago I had a consultation with a thyroidUK recommended doctor. She was fantastic and seemed to understand ALL the things I told her of my 4 year 'journey' with low thyroid hormones. She advised I start on 2 grains of armour (no titrating) and another consult and bloodwork is arranged for early

anyone help with article that states that it is not alright to prescribe different doses of Liothyronine on alternate days?
I am on T3 and Levo 75mcg. but I feel hypo since I was taken off 10mcg T3 daily and put onto T3 at 10mcg /5mcg on alternate days Has anyone a reference regarding this unorthodox prescribing of T3 in split different doses I can send to him to support my case against this splitting of the T3 like

Over medicating
I've recently had some help from the great people on here regarding my thyroid problems, which I am super thankful for but I think I need more. I've mentioned previously the horrible anxiety/restlessness/claustrophobia type symptoms I've had for a few weeks now and recently had a private blood draw to
