Thyroid UK

The Thyroid UK community is for anyone with diagnosed or undiagnosed underactive or overactive thyroid disease. Thyroid UK is a charity that supports people with thyroid disease and related disorders. We support people by informing them of various aspects of thyroid health and testing as well as other conditions such as adrenal deficiency, vitamin and mineral deficiencies and genetics that affect thyroid function. Your health journey is unique. HealthUnlocked can help you identify your unmet thyroid health needs allowing you to ask for the most appropriate support so that you can improve your health outcome in a way that is personalised to you by taking the Needs Assessment survey. Simply click on your profile picture and select "Your needs". The survey will take no longer than 3 minutes to complete and you can retake the assessment multiple times (up to once a month) giving you a tangible way to measure improvements in your health.

FND Action

History has created a lot of misconception of Functional Neurological Disorders which has led to poor treatment and care of those diagnosed, which includes men, women and children of all ages. It is positive that the increase in awareness is slowly helping, but there is still a long way to go to ensure all those diagnosed are supported and cared for appropriately. FND Action is a charity registered in the UK that has been set up by a handful of people who themselves have been diagnosed with FND and/or NEAD. Our aim is to help those across the UK by providing a peer support network, ongoing advice and current information, and to work in collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure the best care is offered for recovery and long term health management.
Functional Neurological Disorder - FND Hope

FND Hope supports patients and families impacted by Functional Neurological Disorder. We advocate for the men, women, and children who have had their lives turned upside down with physical and often debilitating symptoms. Many of which, were sent home with little information and the reassurance that it will go away on its own. We give FND patients a voice, we lend them our ear. We give everyone a place to call their own and a place to feel secure. We give our members the courage to keep going and the strength they need to endure each day. Most of all… We give them hope.
