Just diagnosed. Pretty confused
I was just diagnosed last week. Wbc of 14 and alc of 8.8 - no symptoms or lymphadenopathy. My tests were just completed and everything seemed very favorable except one thing. The good was low ldh (138), low B2M (1.79), low CRP (.05mg/dl), only 13q14 deletion on FISH (everything else normal on that

Response to Joan
Joan, I don't believe I can be of much help as I have been on compounded t4/t3 therapy (extended release one pill daily) for five years. I have done well on this, but only a holistic doctor will prescribe it for me. My endocrinologist wouldn't, so in my search for relief, I chose to stay with the holistic

Do You Need to be Flaring For Diagnosis?
Hello I have a newbie’s question about diagnosis, please. Do you need to be experiencing symptoms such as visible butterfly rash and red/swollen joints at the time you see the rheumatologist for a diagnosis? Or can/will they go from photos and history? I’ve had symptoms that could be SLE for several

Better you iron spray
Does anyone have any comments about this? Does it work? Does it not work? Waste of money? Money well spent? As iron tablets cause me issues (as in they make me constipated and believe me, my body definitely does not need any assistance with that!) I came across this while googling for alternatives.

Fibroscan
It has been 3 weeks since my Fibroscan and still no report. How long did it take to get your results. My ferritin was over 1200, down to 520 after 3yrs. I had 6 years of iron infusions that my hematologist is concerned is iron overload. My saturation for iron is normal, as is my iron levels. HH was negative

High haemoglobin mystery - any connection with my T3?
I am about to have an operation which incidentally I am dreading. I have a Giant intermuscular lipoma growing inside a muscle in my right arm above my elbow and very close to the radial nerve. I have been told that there is a 10% chance that they may hit the radial nerve when trying to cut it out which

My daughter's blood tests, could someone take a look please .
My daughter is 12. She doesn't have any diagnosed thyroid problems but our GP has run various blood tests due to regular nosebleeds and occasional migraines with aura. I persuaded them to check her thyroid and iron panel aswell. I've pushed for this with our family history of autoimmune thyroid problems

Please bear with the first part of this it is relevant: In late 2021 I was in a job which had become very stressful and was suffering some odd symptoms – in particular I tended to spike a fever for 12-24 hours with no obvious illness, low resting heart rate, very dry skin, extreme tiredness. Kidney stones but not seen on ultrasound?
Hi all, I'm hoping for some advice or experience. Around 2 weeks ago I developed bad pains in my lower abdomen and a fever. My GP diagnosed a UTI and possible kidney stones based on a urine test (blood and leukocytes in urine). Antibiotics helped and sure enough I passed the stone a day or later. Pretty
