Calprotectin test back again after last check in February which was 1800 after having alot of blood loss and diarrhea flare-up yet it is still 1800.Gastro appointment on 1st of July booked to discuss but feel very down by this number as I have been eating nothing but oats, almond milk, fish and rice and dairy free gluten free bread and banana each day. I also only drink water. Stomach still makes lots of noises especially come the evening and occasional blood on stools in the morning if their has been noise the evening before.

It is really getting me down still with no answers as of why suddenly I was unable to eat normally then had to go dairy, gluten free and unable to have fruit and veg.

My daughter followed the same symptoms few months after me and she is still the same only her calprotectin is completely normal.

Really don't know what has happened if anyone has anything similar please let me know as I fear all the worse things.

Sorry to hear this. Are you able to get a second opinion from someone else sooner and possibly a test at another pathology place? You usually need medication to bring inflammation down, diet is good for maintenance but not adequate to get inflammation down. Also some people are allergic to almond milk soy is usually safer. A bit unusual your RE your daughter. I guess don't stop until you get the answers and treatment you need. All the best.
