44, own eggs, 4th and final round started - any success stories?
Hi Everyone, I’ve just started my 4th and final round after starting IVF in 2021(and a few years of ttc before that… unexplained fertility issues apart from age, andenomyosis and husband working away a lot up to 2021!). It has been a longer journey than hoped or planned! I said my cut off was 43 but

Feeling really down in 2WW
Sorry for the long intro. Im not a very positive person, I find it hard, even though I try really hard, to find the positives in things. I am really good at masking how I feel and have an array of facades I put on so others don’t know how I am feeling. This is why posting on this site is really difficult

Hayfever & migraine
Hi everyone, I was just wondering does anyone experience hayfever and is it ok to treat it whilst doing IVF? I’m currently on my last few days of birth control and I’ll be starting medications for DE transfer in May. I had my down reg injection yesterday too. I’ve an almighty migraine and wondering

*Sensitive* Thank you and good bye ❤️
I first joined this forum in 2016! Which was the start of my journey. I am so lucky that my journey is now at an end and my family is complete, to write that is surreal as I never imagined it would happen. I hope with all my heart that you all find this peace and can be relieved of never having to think

Questions to ask clinic after failed IVF round?
hello folks, We’ve just had our first IVF round which failed and unfortunately our other embryos didn’t make it to day 5 so we have to start again. I’m pulling together a list of questions to run through with the clinic to see why it might have happened and what we can do differently next time. Does

High estradiol
Hello I wonder if anyone’s had this before. I have stage 4 endo and trying to go through ivf at the moment. Last month was my monitoring cycle and on day 2 of last month my estradiol was slightly high but they said it wasn’t high enough to be concerned (I think it was 260). This month was supposed

My dad did not say congratulations when I announced that I am pregnant
It's a long story so I'll cut it short. I don't have the best relationship with my dad. He is very controlling and him and my mum have a terrible marriage. His controlling behaviour has rubbed off on her in the past few years and she isn't the same person anymore either. When I got engaged to my partner

Failed IVF cycle (Blastocyst) after endometriosis surgery and low AMH value
Hi everyone, I'm a 29-year-old woman who has been trying to conceive for the past five years without success. I was diagnosed with endometriosis and underwent surgery in November 2022. My AMH value was found to be 0.74, which is low for my age. I started my first IVF treatment in March 2023 and had

Ambulatory Oxygen/Transplant fears/IVF joy
Good afternoon all! I hope everyone's well and enjoying their starts to the week? Feels like a while (again) since my last update and a fair bit's happened once again! First and foremost, I had an oxygen assessment with the thoracic team here in Bournemouth after a referral from my consultant at

where/how to get a pregnancy blood test in the UK after 2ww period?
Hi all, this time I couldn’t stay abroad long enough to get my beta test after my FET. Al my ivf treatments have been abroad so I have no idea if my GP would be able to offer me a pregnancy blood test . How do others do this when you go abroad for your transfer but return to uk before the two weeks

Hi all
Hi all, I've just come back after a failed IVF attempt after so many other attempts over 6 years. I'm broken and my sister has just announced her pregnancy. I'm really struggling and have come here for support. My husband says we should try again - and part of me wants to - but the other part of me

Transfer Day
After another week of riding the roller coaster of IVF we have finally made it to transfer day. On Tuesday, last week, we had 9 donor eggs to defrost, 5 survived and only 2 fertilised using DH sperm, which had been defrosted. ( frozen as taken medically due to failed Vesectomy reversal) Not great odds

Can these failures all caused by a single polyp? Help please! (4th failed transfer potentially...)
Hello my dear IVF warriors! No good news again I am afraid... My 9DPT5DT HCG blood level came back as <1. Even though doctor suggested to continue with meds but I know my chance for this round is slim. We had Hysteroscopy + PGS tested embryo + intralipid + HCG flush. However it is still failing

Advice on treatment next steps (before IVF)
Hello, I’m relatively early in my treatment journey but already thinking about next steps, so it would be great to hear from anyone who has been on a journey. I’m on round three of a medicated cycle (letrozole +HCG shot + cyclogest pessaries) to treat a luteal phase defect. My husband has normal sperm

Fertility Diet and Exercise
Hi lovelies So I have a wee problem and not sure how to proceed. For BMI purposes I am classed as obese (by about 4 lbs). I don't think I look obese and am a size 14 and an hourglass shape. Whilst since we are self funding this does not impact our chances of qualifying for IVF since the BMI for self
