Day 5 of cycle (4 of gonadotrophinn /Gonal F). Feeling full in ovaries.
Hi all, I’m seeking some reassurance. This is my first cycle of IVF and I’m on day 5 of my cycle and day 4 of taking Gonal F. Due to begin Ganerelix tomorrow and to go for my first scan Thursday. I’m finding in the evenings I begin to feel very full and strange in my ovary’s, a bit watery perhaps.

Angry at the world today
Hello fellow warriors, I needed to post in a safe space and with people who understand. I'm feeling so angry at the world today. I really want ivf to work but some days it feels so hopeless and I'm so tired of hearing other people's baby news, especially when they already have a child and had no issues

Anyone else starting stims this week?
My cycle just started and I'm feeling pretty nervous but excited. This is the first time we've tried IVF so not sure what to expect (although I've googled A LOT so do have some expectations haha). Anyone else on similar timings?

My boss keeps talking about her pregnancy
Hello everyone, I know this is something that many of you have encountered - and I often read about it on this group. Last year I went through my first IVF, which failed. We took this route after many unsuccessful years of TTC. The IVF failure had a huge impact on me - I still don't feel recovered

**sensitive** Rainbow birth announcement
❤️🌈 Birth Announcement 🌈❤️ I thought I would do a post announcing our rainbow, as these posts really gave me hope when I felt like giving up on our IVF journey. Our beautiful rainbow baby girl (still to be named!) was born on Thursday 1st Feb on her scheduled section date at 37+5. 🌈 She had some

Is four weeks enough time to lower TSH?
My partner and I are currently going through fertility treatment, I had my TSH tested which shows my levels are slightly elevated. At 4.2. The NHS threshold for treatment is 4.9, however the fertility clinic have prescribed thyroxin (50mg) and to be retested in 4-6 weeks, to get my TSH to 2.5 or below

Possible Down's Syndrome after PGT-A testing
Hi all Looking for some advice from someone who has gone through the same or has knowledge of it. I am currently 18w5d pregnant with an IVF baby. I underwent PGT-A testing as I am 41 years old. I thought that with PGT-A testing, that all Chromosomal abnormalities would render the embryo aneuploid

I did PGT-A testing, could my unborn baby have down's syndrome?
I am currently 18 weeks 5 days pregnant following a successful IVF cycle. I undertook PGT-A testing as I am 41 years old. I got a call today from my midwife advising that my blood test has come back with a higher chance result for down's syndrome. I thought that as PGT-A testing was done and showed

Twins, HCG did anyone get a faint line initially on first pregnancy test?
Just curious, we transferred 2 embryos ivf and I really want twins. Tested today but received a faint line - positive though.. I’ve been reading on here the lines are darker with twins. How true is this? I’ve only started to feel symptoms today since returning from Testing so I’m guessing hormones kicking

IVF weight gain?
Hi,We're starting our first round of IVF soon and I'm wondering what I can expect in terms of weight gain from the treatment? I've read that it can cause weight gain. Obviously if I get pregnant that will mean weight gain, and I'm fine with that as it'll be worth it, but I'm wondering about people's

bloods during IVF?
Hi - wanted to ask the network if taking blood is a regular thing during the ivf process? I have very deep veins and it’s really hard for health care professionals to take blood from me, so wondering if taking blood is a regular part of the process and whether I need to start prepping my body a bit more

Embryo transportation- suggestions
Hi IVF warriors, I'm planning on moving my one frozen embryo to ARGC from another london based clinic. Have any of you used the following couriers. Any better than others? Cryozoom EmbryoPort CryoA2B IVF warriors It's a bigger decision than just costs. I want to ensure the courier is careful with

Switch of medication
I’m starting my third round of IVF next Monday & this time they have changed my meds from Buserelin & Menopur to Syneral & Meriofert. Just wondering if anyone else has made this switch & what results they saw? Thanks.

Changes
What did you change in the lead up to your IVF cycle? I'm due to start stims in a few weeks - I already take all the supplements required (have been for months now), I have acupuncture every fortnight, reflexology the weeks in between. I have two daily cups of coffee, the rest decaf. I am a natural

Bleeding at 7 weeks pregnant, baby is fine on scan though.
Hi All, I had some bleeding at 7 weeks pregnant and was convinced I was having a miscarriage as it was quite heavy. I got scanned and found out it was a hemorrhagic gestational sac that had ruptured and baby looked fine (which was reassuring). Apparently it's fairly common in IVF pregnancies and I stopped

11dp5dt OTD tomorrow. Can’t stop crying! HELP!
I can’t bring myself to do this test. I had a failed IVF in January. Now I used 2 donor embryos 5AA and 4AA. Was supposed to test today but since clinic closed. Still no symptoms other than twinges in Lowe abdomen on 6 and 7th day and then nothing. My period should have started yesterday (usually I

Another devastating outcome to add to the catalogue - outcome of last own egg transfer
Hi all - sorry for long post I had been preparing for a long time to transfer my last own embryo before moving to donor eggs. My history with infertility has been long, sad and shocking. Starting with an early natural pregnancy loss after TTC a year, we then moved to IVF and first ever cycle got

Exercise during IVF
Hi Everyone I would like some advice on what kind of exercises can I do during stimulation? I’m just freezing embryos no fresh transfer. I heard that too much exercise and you risk rupturing follicles. I usually only get 1-2 follicles each cycle. I would love to go back running- is that a risk?

My only fresh embryo transfer from two rounds failed. I’m heartbroken. I don’t think I was given the right medical care. Unsupportive DH
My only embryo failed. The first round nothing grew past 4 cells - which I can accept was egg quality. Fast forward 5 months and we both made lots of changes in terms of supplements. The second round I believe the quality will have been much better for both of us. However - the clinic had
