Switch of medication

I’m starting my third round of IVF next Monday & this time they have changed my meds from Buserelin & Menopur to Syneral & Meriofert. Just wondering if anyone else has made this switch & what results they saw? Thanks.

hey there! I am starting a new cycle soon. I am just wondering how you got on with that mix of stims?

Hi. I’ve been on Syneral now for 2 weeks & this morning I had a scan to find out if I could start the Meriofert. All was looking good so I was told to go & do my first Meriofert injection immediately & then from tomorrow do them before 8 each morning. I have my next scan on Friday so I’ll let you know how it goes.

Thank you ♥️ wishing you all the luck. My cycle has just been cancelled. Had my 2nd scan this morning and it looks like I’ve managed to ovulate despite the Ganirelix. I hate my life 🙃

Oh no! That’s so disappointing! I’m sorry to hear that. Do you know when you’ll be able to start again?

Probably in May at some stage 😔 looking at all the different options before then in the hopes of a better cycle. I’ve done 2 now with just the max dose of Meriofert and no luck at all

This is my third cycle but my first using Meriofert. I did quite well on Menopur (9 eggs on round one & 7 on round 2) but according to my clinic, they’ve been seeing really positive outcomes with Meriofert which is why they’re trying that this time.
