A possibly interesting publication revealing 10-fold increase in inflammatory molecule in microvascular angina patients.
This post is rather long. My “Google Scholar Alerts” have notified me of a possibly interesting abstract relating to the physiology of microvascular angina (MVA): https://www.ahajournals.org/doi/abs/10.1161/atvb.39.suppl_1.348 The abstract shows that the tested MVA patients had elevated levels of a

Vitamin D3
To my fellow warrior who reminded me to take D3 in order to help my body absorb Calcium: I have always had strong nails and fast growing hair. Until Ibrance. Suddenly my nails were like paper, my thumbnails had ridges, my hair wasn't growing. At all. So I started taking 400mg D3 at least once a day

Rash on abdomen that is spreading and bruising
I have had a rash on my abdomen for a little over two weeks that has been spreading and now includes my breast, back, chest, and buttocks. It is itchy, and as of recently, there are bruises mixed in with the rash in some areas. As you can see in the picture it started as just a few randomly places

Does a Malar Rash, muscle pain & tiredness make Lupus???
Hi, I have a rash - a VERY itchy, painful, raw, stinging, burning rash. I've got it above my right eye (inner side) under it and - without any visible signs - on my cheekbones and under my chin and on my collar bone. I am concerned that though this rash FEELS like Rosacea it is actually Lupus. And although

Was taking 75mcg of thyroxin and experienced after 9 months excessive sweating my endo said my thyroid lvls were good
But my body was telling me different I was losing my hair, my scalp was red it was itchy along with the sweat, my wrist itch, my finger tips, and the bottom of my feet itch too. Constipation, and nails were brittle and not growing. I told him that his blood test would not supersede my symptoms. He said

Further advice please
Hi, I posted about a month ago regarding Vits K2 and D3 as I have decided not to have any more Alendronoc Acid or infusions. My scan shows some osteoporosis and some osteopenia. I have been on pred for 2.5 years (PMR) starting at 15mg and slowly reducing to 1mg and taking a daily chewable Adcal-D3.

Changing body and symptoms at 30 years old
Hello I'm new on here - just wanted to share my experience thus far, partly for myself but also for anyone who may have been through similar cascade of symptoms and dealing with a changing body. If anyone has tips or advice to share I would appreciate it too. Throughout my 20's I had noticed my period

Vitamin and Mineral Deficiency Testing Plus Thyroid Function
Having now completed my six week loading dose of Vitamin D3 I am planning to test both that also my thyroid function on new reduced dose of T4. If I’m doing all this I wonder if there’s a specific vitamin/mineral test that I ought to invest in to see if I have any other deficiencies?

Topical Steroid Creams for Phimosis
Hi. I suffer from phimosis. I understand that applying topical steroid cream to my foreskin can help stretch it. Has anyone here used topical steroid creams? If so, which ones? Thanks.

Driving on 40mgs Pred?
I wrote a few days ago about my rash. While waiting for the results of the biopsy, another two weeks, the rash has gotten worse and is covering more of my body. The rash has not improved with topical steroids or oral antihistamines. The only thing that helps is Gold Bond Menthol lotion. It changes

OK to take Vitamin D3 along with High Dose B1 Therapy?
Hello, Could someone please help us. My husband started high dose B1 therapy a few months ago. When he did, he also quit his Vita min D3 ....thinking he had read somewhere not to take the D3 when taking B1. However, lately I have read that a lot of people with PD take big doses Vit D. Does anyone
