Small area of swelling, lower lid
Hi all. I’m newly diagnosed with NTG and haven’t yet had chance to discuss with a specialist as he was off sick so wondered if anyone here can help. I noticed a small, 1 cm area of swelling on my lower lid. Have been using monoprost for 2 months only. Is this usual? Is it blocked glands? Is this why

Dreadful Anxiety
I have suffered from anxiety for decades. It has mostly been under control with medication, EMDR and therapy. I also suffer from bi-polar and PTSD. My Psychiatrist has put me on Zoloft (50mg), but it is not helping. In fact, I feel more anxious on it. Maybe it is not a high enough dose for me. I am

adverse reactions to Levo
I’m on 125 of thyroxine lots of side effects extremely itchy skin, blurred vision, headaches and digestive problems. Not sure if this is due to getting different brands from pharmacy, is there a particular brand which doesn’t have additives ? I would be grateful for any advise 🙏

Trab with sedation
HI, I’m new on here. I have open angle glaucoma in both eyes, with some vision loss. I am going to have a trabeculectomy very soon, as eye drops haven't been that successful, and I'm extremely nervous, so have opted to have sedation. I was wondering how effective the sedation is? Does it just relax

Eye floaters. Any link to Pred or just normal ageing process?
This is not the first time I've had these floating black specks in my vision, mostly on the left which is my weaker eye (very short-sighted on that side). But does long term Pred affect this? And is it a warning sign? I'm currently on 5.5 mg of Pred for GCA /LVV /PMR one year in, feeling ok, though bouts

Intrusive thoughts of Ex
I can’t get over my ex for the life of me and it’s almost been a year . Thoughts pop up of her all day long , I get flashbacks of our relationship, fear at times , scared to leave my house since she lives close to me . What is this ? Trauma ? PTSD ? C-PTSD? It’s super sad . I’ve done EMDR

Loss of Sharpness after Eylea injection
Hello folks. My name is Michael. For years I was receiving shots of Eylea by a doctor that I trusted completely. About 3 years ago I moved and it was just too far to travel to continue seeing this great doctor. I then continued Eylea injections with a new Retina man. On about the 4th visit I noticed,

latanoprost and headaches
hi I’ve been using latanoprost eye drops for 7 weeks now, I have suspicious discs and a family history of glaucoma ( mother) and when prescribed my pressures were 22 in both eyes. For the last week I have woken with a headache, and I’m wondering if this could be related to the eye drops, as this is

Would anyone be willing to share the past DVLA Group 1 Visual Field Test Results and DVLA response.
Hi All, I am a 50 year old male from England. I was recently advised by my consultant that I should report my Glaucoma to DVLA. Which I have done a few weeks ago and straight away got a letter from them to go and get a Group 1 Visual Field Test at Spec savers. Yesterday was the day of the big

Bioflex PMBT Device
Does anyone have any information or experience with the photobiomodulation (light delivered via low level laser) therapy device sold by the Bioflex Company located in Toronto, CA? Their claim is it energizes mitochondria, lowers inflammation, and promotes healing. Thanks - John G

Does anyone else over 60 with Glaucoma pay for eye lubrication in the UK ?
Apparently North East Essex patients have to pay for eye lubricants, also some areas of Somerset. Does anyone else ? It would be very useful to know. HRT now only costs £20 a year available to all women (probably only needed for a few years), so why not all Gaucoma medications ? Is lifetime conservation
